- TaylorMade just released the new P790 irons with some pretty interesting internal technology. I put the new P790 up against its P770 sibling on the launch monitor to see how they compare. My annual golf weekend is over and it was one for the ages.

I am currently playing the STEALTH irons....my handicap this year is around 6-8.....I like the forgiveness but am wondering if you think the P-790 would be good for my game or if i am good enough to play them....i love the look of the P-790... would be looking to get 5-PW , AW with 1 degree up and midsize grips and prefer the graphite shafts...thx...cheers from Canada
P.790 are really amazing irons. I use to play M1 M2 and M3 until i got a set of P790 and never change it because it feel way much better. P790 has a clean strike and soft feel.

No problem, we all try to improve our game. I think the new P790 will be a game changer. I'm already loving the previous set which I couldn't get over it. I custom the set to my swing one inches longer than standard because my heights and arm are much longer. Best to get fit it though.

Yes. And we felt like we looked as good as he does in them!
