That price is pretty outrageous though, I could buy the ramen in a normal cvs and, cook it and eat it there too, and it would be cheaper. Don't understand the point of such an upcharge. It makes sense in LA - the upcharge is for the rent on that location. Possibly same in Seoul? But I dunno really because in Gyeongsangnam everything is cheap lol
Give me a shop like this here in Texas. After struggling for the past 30-ish years, my family is finally not poor-poor, but we still like to save money and love instant noodles. As a teenager I would make broke boy Korean Army Stew. Would take some green onions, some spam cut thin and fried, little bit of Kraft processed cheese and some fried egg, take four bags of chicken flavored ramen, make it in a big pot, mix all the ingredients together with the MSG packet. Tah-dah. Delicious, filling meal that feeds everybody for cheap and is so good you can even chug the broth and be happy.
In case any of you guys want to do a little bit of observation to find the name, it’s “Slurp & Sip” in 3448 Wilshire Blvd suite 100.
