Yomi was actually very easy unlike Vercengeteroix in XIII. That battle make Yomi look like a walk in the park. But then again fights in XIII, especially later, were much harder.
Raspatil is a great farming source for money so you can buy Monster leveling items. 250k with Durable Collector Catalog. With the right strategy/build it is possible to down him in less than 2 minutes. Get him to ~280% stagger and have full debuffs on him when he spawns his first round of adds. Drop the adds, stagger him, then do 5 mil damage in 20 seconds!
battlemania is a significant increase for rare monsters. go to the bresha ruins (not the story related one) and notice how almost every other monster that spawns is the tonberry/don tonberry. they'll only spawn in the northern area of the map though so don't waste your time looking for them by the southern sections.
I have not gotten to these yet, due my xbox only just working, but none of these look as tough as Vercingetorix. Yomi is just like... A weaker version. Although poison did his health in at like 10 000 a second ;p;
I found yomi really easy, compared to FF13's mission 64 boss (which I think this one is pretty much a copy of). Also I think the more you damage using attacks, the more health it restores during inpenetrable aura. I found just sticking poison then switching to combat clinic kills it way faster than attacking (if you don't have strong attackers)
Geiseric, when I encountered him for the first time was easy as heck, beat him first time and was really disappointed... The time I faced him was when I was working my way through academia 400AF for the first time. (grinded in the archlyte steppe to train my buccuboo ace to around 534 strength and almost 900 magic... Fully leveled, honetly he's not that bad of a monster)
When looking for the graviton cores i found Gaeseric and tried to fight him thinking that going past him i would get to a gate that brings me to yaschas massif 100af and oh boy was i wrong! i didn't play the game for 2 or so months because of THAT DOUCHE!!! but now i know that i'm suppose to kill him after i beat the game and when i do...ho ho i will DESTROY HIM!!!!!
Not sure if you found an answer yet, but you get Lightning by buying the Lightning and Amodar DLC. Not too sure about Sazh, I think it's something to do with Serendipity.
I didn't have as easy of a time as you did due to lack of buffs and debuffs. But, as for that orb that appeared above his head.... that's a temporary thing, and the moment it runs out, all of its summoned allies are unsummoned.;)
using imperil on yomi can be pretty useful, just get that on him, stagger him quick than give him the beatdooown! and man iv'e got a strong hatred for geiseric, thought i was all hard and tried to take him on when i first encountered him, BAD MOVE

The reason why Oli can beat these monsters in good time is because he has DLC Monster (Sazh,Lightning)

I once managed to stagger Yomi, but Raspatil is awful: the only thing one needs to worry is its high HP and there never-ending waves of Cie'th.
Great video! I really enjoyed it :D
hey oliz what button do you ht on the controller to see the achievments and stuff
yomi was the hardest thing in the game in Final fantasy 13. And its still pretty beast in this game.
It took me months, I repeat, months, to defeat Yomi. I hate that bastard so much. I eventually rage quit for a bit. but I eventually did it.
Your awesome i watch your vids too help me out on bosses keep up the good vids man

Could I get a list of all the maps tht need to be explored
I could never beat yomi even after the game but I plan on returning to my xbox to beat him
This deserves way more than 46 likes... Great video man!

Easiest Yomi strategy: Poison, Tortoise, heal. Rinse and repeat.
When I used to play this game Yomi was insanely easy to beat, I managed to slay almost every monster but I couldn't do Raspatil.

Battlemania is amazing. I used it grind for Gil and man I wracked up money quickly. 😁

The commando Lightning wasn't released until long after this vid was released.
What on Earth is Serah and her chocobo doing at 14:23?!
Raspatil was pretty easy for me when I fought him.
If you keep the side enemies in check he's nothing more than a huge punching bag with 3M+ HP.
I beat yomi with a clutch hit, basiclly i got lucky and managed to kill him when he was about to kill me

Somehow I was able to beat Yomi before I beat the game. My characters just got way too powerful some point in the game lol.
Good job

how did u gte noel hp to 10000
gaeseric is just as easy to take out in 13 as well. once you stagger him that's all she wrote.
HOW CAN YOU REPLACE LIGHTNING WITH A GOLDEN CHOCOBO
Holy crap, he DESTROYED Raspatil!
Ur epic
I did beat Gaeseric first time I was in academia 400 af
Omg! A moogle! Kupo!
