Imagine the comments if the people bringing on the items were women with hardly anything on. We only talk about double standards when it's slanted to disfavour women because society loves a good man bash.
They wouldn't be any different. Stop creating problems. If it was a man or a woman, they were paid to be there and wanted to be there. Why is that a problem?
The whole reason why it's men with barely anything on is because the stereotype is that usually it would be women with barely anything on, so the joke is to invert that stereotype. So if it were women the joke wouldn't work and it would just be kinda weird to have nearly naked people bring the items. So the reason why no one complains about the near-naked men is not simply because they're men, but because their role on the show is to make fun of exactly the weird relation we have with scantily clad people on tv. TLDR: I think you whooshed this one
@@craigbaker593 I'm sure the pit stop girls in Formula 1 were paid and wanted to be there but the PC brigade got rid of them. So society does have a problem with scantily clad people being paraded about for the edification of others - but only when said people are women.
