Lovely shots of Ozzy Nessy and the Milky Way. Filter looks like a very innovative idea. We have deadly creatures across the ditch here as well you know, like the angry hedgehog :) (phew)
OMG not the hedgehog 🦔 I hear you have to be really careful at night as they stalk you! Yeah that filter is really cool, I’ll be sure to work on a more detailed video on the filter and it’s design. How’s the weather been for you? So bad here… no clear nights at all!
@@StevenMorrisPhotography weather absolutely awful here. I think you Aussies send it over here once you had enough of it 🤣. Did have an opportunity a couple of weeks ago to try out some Milky Way Astro and now I’m itching to get an Astro modified camera.
Awesome to see that Gabor send you his mask (and I have to say that he is just a great great person). I already have it and I can say from experience that it works as advertised - I have been using it on all of my lenses, that is from 14mm to 200mm. I was close to buying the SharpStar 2 from Ian Norman (Lonley Speck), but I noticed that it doesnt work as well on 14mm. Then I came across of Alan Dyer's review of FocusOnStars review and this was it. I still had a few questions and Gabor was more than happy to answer everything when I contacted him.
Gabor is such a nice bloke and from now on I’ll be using the focusing mask that’s for sure, it will certainly save my eyes lol. I’d be out doing more astro work if the weather would behave lol.
Excellent, thanks Steve. Much better than squinting in the dark :)
Your very welcome 😊
The filter is a great design and certainly helped my eyes!
Great video and the filters look like they are a great addition. Beware those deadly goannas!

@@StevenMorrisPhotography me hahah :D no way I can test my new lens :D
Haha yeah I’ve bought some gear too
You have got enough bitee and killy creatures down under, but you want to go and steal Nessie? Oh, the cheek of it!
....cracking captures by the way!
Hahaha yup Nessie is Australian lol 😂
Looks good! have you tried it with a 16mm focal length?
I have tried it at 14mm all the way to 24mm with my 14-24mm lens and it works a great!
the uncomfortable moment when i see that red low battery status on your camera screen. 😱🤣
