    I really like these clippers. They are light weight and balanced. It's great to not have to deal with a cord.

    Did you find that the clippers were slow to remove the hair or had any drag resistance? I'm looking for a good cordless clippers to use on my toy poodles and find some cordless are not quick enough or cause resistance to the poodle hair xx

    • @LoveofGrooming
      @LoveofGrooming  5 лет назад

      I love this clipper. I have not had any dragging. Dragging can be caused by dull blades usually.

    • @awesomepawz6709
      @awesomepawz6709 5 лет назад

      @@LoveofGrooming thanks for your reply. I oil my clippers every use and even with brand new clippers that have never been used they seem really slow and dont want to cut through the poodle fur. I have brushed the dogs before shaving and not bathed them so no knots in their fur (i always use a comb and ensure the fur close to the skin is detangled as this can cause matting, as us groomers know, and have skin issues/irritation and painful). I am going to invest in a set of these as they look and sound amazing xx

    I tried out my new Wahl cordless today on one of my cavoodles, Beau today & I was very disappointed with their performance after watching your demonstration on the standard poodle. I actually went back to my corded Wahl KM SS. Even after the recommended charging before using they had no guts, even after I had upped the power to 2.

    Estimated, some questions:
    1) Wahl KM 10 vs Wahl KM Cordless, both running on current, which one is better?
    2) Wahl KM Cordless, does it work directly with 220v without the use of a transformer, or only at 110v?
    Regards!

    • @LoveofGrooming
      @LoveofGrooming  5 лет назад +1

      Hi, they are both the same except one is cordless. The cordless does not have a transformer. I love the cordless better then the corded because the cord does not get in the way. I find they both give the same results. Hope this helps.

      SOURCE haha you can but it’s loud and vibrates against your head a lot. If you already have one go for it but you can buy much smaller and quieter clipper meant for humans for about 1/4th the price.
      I’ve let my coworkers (we’re groomers) shave my head and let me tell you - that’s one heck of a trust exercise xD

    How do you compare it to the Bravura ?

    • @LoveofGrooming
      @LoveofGrooming  5 лет назад +2

      I love them both but this clipper is more heavy duty and clips through thicker and longer coats compared to the Bravura. In my opinion both are nice to have as they have different purposes

    • @aylap.2573
      @aylap.2573 5 лет назад

      A major difference to consider as well is the Bravura is a 5 in 1 blade clipper, meaning you can't change blade lengths like she does in this video. You could see how short she took the face, the Bravura only has a blade for a tiny (almost unnoticeable) bit longer then that and shorter. You can buy clip combs for it but they sometimes leave another finish, and some lengths don't come in clip combs because the lengths on combs are for it being used backwards so they are sometimes leaving double the fur that's listed. The wahl km is also meant for all around and heavy work where as the Bravura is a trimmer made for quick touch ups on face and feet, though it can be used for more it's not technically made to.

    Estimated,
    why there are so few units of this machine on eBay, Amazon, etc. I ask, since practically Wahl does not have a technical service, there are no spare parts on the internet, and still it has such a high price.
    Do you know anything about this machine?
    Regards.

    • @LoveofGrooming

      Hi, they are a popular clipper so maybe that's why there are a few available. Check with Grooming supplies that sell these clippers as they usually sell parts. Are you in Canada? This is Wahl website, you can email them and ask about parts www.wahlglobal.com/canada/wahl/professional-animal-groomingveterinary.html

      I emailed Wahl asking what was going on because I have been wanting to buy these clippers for awhile and this was their response
      “I am sorry you are having difficulty finding a supplier that is currently selling our KM Cordless. Due to a supply issue on a part needed to build the clipper we have not been able to produce this unit. We are hoping it will become available again later this year.”

    The fact that these clippers use a brushless motor is huuge, brushless is a newer technology than a tradituional 4 pole motor , it gets much less hot, its quieter, the battery lasts longer and you get way more power, brushless does use a computer chip which is why they are more expensive, but worth it. Radio control cars had them first then power tools, now clippers!

      @aprilrodriguez5874 Год назад
