Thank you very much. To be honest I never expected it to turn out as well as it did for my first project. My next project is a T3 stage 5 bust. It's an awesome resin recast I bought off of eBay. A completely different challenge this time. Would be good to make it a full body prop.

Great work. I have the same kit. I think they all take a lot of re-working, to get them to look right. I actually bought proper glass lenses, for the eyes, and steel braided hydraulic racing brake lines for the neck hydraulics. They're the same size and the top tube parts are nearly identical to the ones used in on the real skeleton (T2). Even though they cost me $20 each, I'll probably still see if I can find an exact match.

@BenMoggy wats the measurements of the skull from bottom of the jaw to top of the skull. I'm planning on making the full body but there's no blueprints online. Nice buildt, ove it.

hello, would you be able to help out for what wires, nuts , and bolts you used exactly for this?

Nice work. Just one correction in the description. though. It is an endoskull, but it's not a bust. A bust is from the chest (bust) up.

Thanks I took reference from the Sideshow Collectables "Bust" www.sideshow.com/collectibles/terminator-t-800-combat-veteran-sideshow-collectibles-833312

A bit of a grey area as it includes the Sternum or (breast bone). By definition a 'bust' is the head, neck and a "variable" portion of the chest and shoulders.

I don't put too much faith in anything Sideshow claim. They can't even get their Endos accurate, despite being supposedly "officially licensed".
The proper definition of a bust is:
      "bust1
      · n.
      1 a woman’s breasts.
2 a sculpture of a person’s head, shoulders, and chest.
      - ORIGIN C17: from Fr. buste, from Ital. busto, from L. bustum ‘tomb, sepulchral monument’."
(Taken from Concise Oxford Dictionary. -Widely regarded as the definitive dictionary of the English language.)

How did you do the black in the crevices? Did you air brush that in there or wipe it with a black paint/water wash?

Hello. I have a question to ask: the jaw is articulated or fixed ? it can be opened and closed ?

    • @BenMoggy
      @BenMoggy  8 лет назад +2

+Simone kitt I fixed the jaw as it was hanging down but it could be articulated. HM4U sold two versions of the skull from memory. There was a cheaper one that had no articulation.

BenMoggy Yes ... I bought the articulated model, modified the teeth and made them longer and regular as seen in some more engaging models. I want to move the jaw with a spring system.

hi pal, love the bust by the way?
I'm looking at their website now, in the hope of finding something to make, build paint etc... I seem to be seeing an awful lot of bad reviews, especially on the endo skulls, wrong model etc.
I was just wondering if you've bought from them other than the skull and what customer relations was like thanks. also what's vinyl like to work with, to resin I mean.
    many thanks, stuart

Hi Ben just wanted to ask if you had any problems ordering from homemedia4u? just i ordered a endoskull kit but loads of people are saying that they had multiple problems ordering and receiving. So pretty much asking how long ago did you order your kit and in that time how long did it take to be dispatched and received. Thank you.

+ogrehhbdf herbshuer so sorry for not getting back to you! I have not been receiving mail from this account but I have set it up now! Have you received it yet? How are you getting on?

+Cristian Correa Hi Cristian. From memory it took about a month to arrive. If you are going to buy one, get the more expensive LED version. Its slightly more of a challenge but is far closer to the film used prop. Good luck!
