Another great review. I'm debating between the Dunu SA6 MK2 and Symphonium Meteor. So far, some reviewers have said they prefer the Meteor over SA6 MK2.
you have also Softears studio 4 as an option with the same price range

I had the Symphonium meteor as well before getting the SA6 MK2. I would say Meteor has a more pronounced lower-end. It's deeper hitting but a little slower in comparison. SA6 MK2 has a more natural sound, with more details as well.

It's a beauty for sure. I love my OG but based on the recommendation from you and Timmy, I'm going to get the MK2 and take my OG to the office as my 2nd work pair. May even add Kinera Gramr or Ruyi cable for conference calls. As usual thank you for the amazing review
would non audiophiles like the tuning?
For sure yes, I've only been in the hobby for a year so my ears aren't audiophile by any means. I love the OG with the bass boost switch on. The treble is relaxed not shouty. Really nice set

What is your thought on the xenns mangled tops versus these , since you agree with giz ? I'm looking to buy one of them , I just want the best overall in this under 600 price range .

Hi Dave. Correct me if I’m wrong but your set still came with the 2.5mm connector for the Hulk Pro Mini cable? Mine didn’t and it was also said that the final retail release will not come packaged with a 2.5mm anymore as well.

Interesting to hear you think they are worth getting if you have the Ultras, the graphs look very similar (especially when you switch the ultra to atmospheric mode)
I also have the Ultra's with me and I find these to have better bass response(More punch, more dynamics).
Iam thinking about to get SA6 mk2 or Symphonium Meteor these days. Do you feel the energy of SA6 mk2 in the upper midrange is fine...❓HBB mentioned some not ideal energy in upper mids...✌️😊

Would you call the SA MK2 good allrounders?
How many decibels does the switch turned on add? Seems like too subtle to really make a difference.
Seems like about 2 dB difference. It's not a huge difference but a significant difference, in my opinion. Thanks for watching!

Me personally, I would choose the MK2 but if you like something with a little more mid range focus (if you're a vocal lover especially) then I would recommend Ultra. Thanks for watching!

Decided to keep mine as there is still a unique naturalness to the sound/timbre of the IE600 compared to the SA6 MK2. Right now, my rotation is vocal/clarity/timbre : Monarch MK2, V-Shaped : IE600, Neutral : SA6 Ultra and MK2, and Balanced-to-Bright : K10U
It’d be great to see comparisons to other iems besides the older versions.

@Two Chins MMA it's standard with stabilize wood, every piece is unique some will have more resin and some will have less.
