It's Tour Manager Doug Tuesday! Man, what a strange week this is. There seems to be nobody doing their usual things in Sacramento- nobody at Costco on Sunday afternoon and a spontaneous walkin (and walked right in) to Escape Room after work yesterday. I think everyone took the week off and got the hell out of this, well, hell. 11 straight days of 105+ degree weather here. A new record. Kill me.
Anyway, I can't think of anything more fun than thrashing around to Slayer in the 110 degree heat. Here is one of Doug's tapes from that Fall 1984 run of shows. This one was super tinny, I did what I could with it. It sounds alright. Thanks Doug!

I got this one in a tape trade in 1985 with the Mercyful Fate the night after... funny how back then you got any quality and loved it. These were rare listens to such up and coming bands... Within a year, Slayer was a household word in the metal world.
