Polarized sunglasses make a night and day difference on the water and you can see so much more and even the cheap Strike King ones from Walmart work really well .
I got some Berkely ones from like 20 years ago. They have a magnifying lens for tying knots. Still work brand new not a scratch on them. Worth the 12 bux or whatever. 😂
I’m a 2 glasses person too. This week was out after sunset. Driving and Loading my boat in the pitch black with no glasses was tough. Lots of plastics to try. Appreciate your wisdom as a regular angler who loves fishing. Checking some links

I have that Gnat in 5 different colors. Did great when it was really hot and the bass and bluegill were being picky. Down side is it will blow out if cranked too hard and the hooks catch each other often.
That Gnat looks exceptional, being in Michigan we dont have a lot of big shad or big baitfish bass key in on, just smaller shiners and bream. Look like a good river bait if ive ever seen one, definitely the favorite of the unboxing or those stealth craws look crazy good as well!

Definitely interested in those glasses have astigmatism. To many baits to pick a favorite have to wait and see what comes into my local fin feather and fur. 😁

The bait you were trying to think of is a deps Sakamata shad. Zoom’s winged fluke was an attempt to replicate it but unfortunately it fell well short of the original. The way the sakamata sits in the water is almost horizontal and when it falls on a slack line it spirals like a dying minnow. The zoom version when tested didn’t live up to the original in more ways than one. The sakamata is made from a very soft plastic and just has unique characteristics that the zoom just can’t replicate. At the end of the day the zoom will probably work but I’m gonna choose the almighty sakamata every time cause it simply catches fish, a lot of fish and giants at that.
The rapala crush city mooch MINNOW in sungill is awesome for hover shot with 2/0 jig hook and 1/16 tungsten nail weight. I've noticed putting the weight towards the bottom of body (not centered on the face) and hook really shallow along back and start hook right where the weight ends so they don't overlap or hit, it balances and rolls well

I honestly think anything new is deceiving on how good it TRUELY is... I want to get that billow shad and bone fish, I think those will slay, until every angler uses it and every fish has seen em
I used the decoy guarded sniper finesse hooks that you recommended neko rigged. Idk how but MAN they are the most weedless thing iv ever used. I was throwing it into a downed tree. way in there! never got stuck. Thanks
So many good looking craw options! New glasses look good on you btw! On all those plastics I noticed some look oily and shiny and others less so. How much stock do you put into roughing up your plastics for a more worn or matte look before tossing them around?

Those zooms have nowhere near the action of the sakamata shads. I tested them in a pool and the sakamata have the death spiral that makes it way better and it sits more horizontal as well. The zoom isn’t even close I gave them to my coworker I didnt even want em 😂

Great video and unboxing what weight for bfs texas rig my casting rod is a lite power I do have 5'6" ultralight spinning rod. Debo I have got some xcite baits seems to be pretty good baits I would like to get your opinion on them I would send you some of them but I just can't afford it

People say the same thing about googan as they do Yamamoto now but ive caught 5 to 6 fish on both and get about the same with others I use lol. Caught 5 on one bandito bug today 😁.
You are correct what bfs is bro. Ultra light fishing is a different thing than what bfs is and was designed for. A Japanese angler told me bfs is light downsized bass setups that's what it was all designed for. It's also what the original custom built baitcaster reels was for as well. People took 50 to 80 size reels upgraded bearings and added shallow spools.

They been making the chug bug jr for a long time. My favorite size. I have a few that are so chewed that they no longer float.
