I don't think there were infidelity. But emotional infidelity. He probably was enjoying his time with his costar. Taylor didn't like this. But it's not the only reason why the broke up. The ended things because they truly weren't compatible, for life. But she doesn't want to come across invective or shaming him so she says good things about him, but behind the scene and to her friends she made it out that Joe hurt her and keep her friends within her circle. This way she controls the narrative and so if they chose to stay friends with him then they are a bad person. And that's the way she wants it.
