    If you see this comment, please clear it up for me. I live in Texas Frisco to be specific and I talked to a dump truck driver in the area said he makes a lot more than that per year. I’m thinking about buying a truck in two years once the money is saved, but if I run the truck myself and make under 6000 a month dealing with the headache of being an owner operator that does not seem worth it I make over 6000 a month as an over the road truck driver for a company.

      @@devinjohnson9749 I’m in New Jersey and we average $100 an hr on hourly work, and 9hr shifts, and diesel is 3.50 per gallon, and most of the work is local so I spend about $100 a day on fuel . $4500 per wk -500 for fuel = $4000 per wk, once you save up about 20k for maintenance on a truck your good. I bought my truck our right for 50k so I see all profit. I had one major breakdown in two yrs “water pump “ other then that just regular maintenance and tires , 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • @jaymancini
      @jaymancini  8 месяцев назад +1

      You need to call several insurance agents and do price comparisons. Make sure you tell them exactly what type of truck you have. Even better send them a picture.

    These numbers are way off, you should be grossing about 5k a wk with a dump truck

    • @jaymancini
      @jaymancini  Год назад +5

      Numbers depend on several factors like what state and city you are located in. And also what type of truck you have. The bigger the truck, the more axles you have and the more weight you are allowed to carry. All equals to more money. The numbers in this video are very conservative numbers on a tri axle in the greater Houston area. I also mentioned that in the video.
      And yes you can possibly make $1000 a day in a dump truck. We actually have a video explaining how you can make $1000 a day that has not been released. Look out for the video it will be coming soon. Thanks for watching!
