I watched your video's in reverse order so far. I think I'll take a second look starting from this beginning and working my way through to what you've posted so far. I really like and appreciate your process. Thanks for Sharing!

having different type of drawing is very good, not just for customer to visualize but if you were to bring someone in with some knowledge they can take those and build it and have to think what needs to be cut and forget stuff and cut it later.
I use sketchup as well. i love it for building cabinets, I will draw each piece as a component like how it would be built. plywood, solid wood, etc are color coded. then use open cutlist extension which gives list of everything separated by material and thickness. if 3/4" plywood is one, you can get a cutting diagram of the sheet with all the pieces laid out for the most efficiency and less waste. i take those drawing a cut away, could go as far a labeling the pieces but don't do big enough projects for that and can keep track of whats what.
looking forward for the next videos of the series to see how you do things and maybe change the way i do them as well.

Yeah, this has been a steady progression to get to this point. when you have other people doing some of the work you have to start thinking about things differently. It can't all be in your head anymore and you have to put it on paper so that it makes sense to others.
