This is a great video! Shows the diversity of Texas/Austin! Little bit of a goth scene there.. neato! and then you feel transported to Mexico! Can eat a burrito! Then we teleport to some cute rave looking rainbow happy place? Reminds me of one of my old sims games where everything was cute and colourful.

It just as no appeal to me. Why do so many people look like they are NOT having fun? For College Age kids I can see the Appeal on a weekend night but for most people it just seems like a lot of effort to get some overpriced food and listen to a cover band. The "diversity" is a draw back. Brings crime and a lack of cohesiveness
A shell of its former self.
Why
I've never been there, but it looks like it's full of douchebags and hoes.
The hippies are all dead or gone.
Nothing left but squares and alcohol.
Everything is so contrived, trying to be hip.
It looks like it's full of douchebags and hoes. Almost like an overglorified outdoor mall.

Wouldnt it be totally insane if this was a monday night
What was the pizza place called. Death metal pizza. Not sure if it's still there.
Hoek's Death Metal Pizza. It was so good. This video though....good times are long gone.
It was boarded up a few years ago. Glad it appears to have revive.

Love it when new Clubs open up. I need to check out The Venue. looks like an open roof style like Fat Tuesdays back in the day.
People are strange when they are strangers
Damn, that's a lotta cops for one tiny neighborhood (from Montreal Canada here so it's surprising to me). Are they there every night?
Cops aren’t usually that prominent it just so happens that this is 6th street where a lot of partying happens.
My wife and I are planning a trip to Austin next year. Any recommendations regarding 6th street and surrounding areas?

Spring or fall. Avoid the place in the summer as Texas summers are hot.
