      @@gldi8hr If it's your first wheel get one second hand that you can drop and not mind. The S20 (S22) is too fragile for a first wheel imo. Lots of plastic that can break in a fall.

      @@Simonisms But they reenforced it in S22, did not they?

      @@LightCrasher Apparently they did strengthen the front handle. Not sure about the front lights though. Hopefully they will improve the plastic all round but we will have to wait for the final production version to really know.

    What did you think of the s20

    • @Simonisms
      @Simonisms  2 года назад +4

      It was a smooth ride with good power delivery and I liked the bounce on the suspension. It had strange turning characteristics on tight turns which could be the tyre or just my unfamiliarity with the wheel.
      The pads work better than I expected but still not fully functional, the seat is a bit little. It looks amazing though, a really standout and it took some hard riding and never faltered.

      @@eucridez2062 It's a really good wheel. I think you are going to be very happy 😊
      Also the range was solid 👍we were riding this wheel hard, (lots of torquing and high speeds) for 50 km and it still had 50% battery left at the end of the ride.

      No they aren't legal in Melbourne 😔 We ride with caution and avoid police heavy areas.

      @@luan5568 Unfortunately privately owned scooters are illegal in Melbourne. The police don't really enforce the law though as there are scooters everywhere. We have hire scooters in Melbourne too but they are very expensive.

      We promised the dealer who lent us the S20 that we would be careful with it. Everyone got to ride it but only the highly skilled riders got to throw it around a bit.
      It went through a lot of stress testing but wasn't dropped once 😊
