Yeah i believe also i use GM to code multiplayer things using 39dll it's a good tool i could make a game in 10 minutes but with C++ it would take like 10 days or something.

I think it's because some people don't realize that GM isn't that bad anymore. Back in v6, 7, and even 8, i couldn't process as much information at once. Obviously now it's not great, but it's a decent tool to use to skip all the pointless BS you'd have to code if you made it in a language like C++.
