    Your demo is one of the best for the 2023 CR-V Hybrid. I felt like I was in the car! Felt the acceleration + stops. Nice photography.

    Sport Touring also has acoustical glass for the windshield...helping even more with the road and wind noise.

    Just wanted to correct the comment about the CVT. It has no CVT Honda calls it a eCVT but it has no transmission. Has engine, two motors and the batter. I’ve driven it and it is extremely smooth and has such a quiet ride. Thank you for the video. :)

      Thank you for your comment, but Honda actually says it’s a CVT. If you look at the window sticker it says CVT not ECVT

      You are absolutely correct and please forgive me I wasn’t taking issue with you presentation. I was only attempting to pointing out for those who were familiar with traditional CVT’s and didn’t particularly care for them, that despite what’s on the sticker this car has no transmission. It has a drive motor. Enjoyed the video. :)

      @@Iegend17 I'm pretty sure it's still an E-CVT, but Honda is rebranding it. It's similar to how many luxury brands don't put hybrid badges on their hybrid vehicles nowadays

    Honda screwed the buyer on the Sport Hybrid model to get them to go up 5000.00 in price to the Sport Touring. The Sport seems a great balance but Honda gets you on the very basic radio that does not have the watts or wireless connectivity. So sound and connection is lacking. Honestly they shouldn't even have that model radio as the EX-L radio should be the base sound system. I would not pay 40000 for a CR-V. The Sport should be getting a better sound system.

    Good driving review! Test drive this and RAV4 and the Honda wins on driving experience and interior. Reports seem to say the RAV4 actually gets advertised MPG but the new CR-V is not getting it's. So that's my only concern.

      This right here. I can’t seem to get a clear and definitive explanation related to the fuel mpg issue. I’ve heard some people say that they’re only averaging 28 Highway and 32 city on the Hybrid Model. This is extremely concerning.

    The sport touring is noisy in uphills and the acceleration doesn't feel smooth. The engine goes into high RPM very often and doesn't sound good. But the ride is much quieter at other times.

    Why dont manufactures put a battery's recharge module on rear axle which run independently from the engine? If doing that, the battery is always in recharging status.

      @texasjoe557 Год назад +1

      @@pdg61met I drove it as well. It was peppy but the interior feels like it was designed at rooms to go - just not in character with the vehicle. Also the sticker had a hefty market adjustment on it. I also looked at the sante fe - adjustment even bigger. The salesman drove the thing around the lot with the key fob… which I found comical. I don’t want to pay for that. I thought the CRV touring was much quieter than the tucson but I didn’t drive the same road with both so hard to give an apple to apple comparison. Also hyundai is famous for abandoning models to create other ones. CRV is 6th gen. a more stable brand. I went CRV Touring. I paid sticker but nothing else. I felt like Honda treated me fairly. The best I ever did was get 2500 off sticker on a honda and that was back in 2004 .

      Actually sir, Rafa RS is correct. Electric motors handle “transmission” duties. There’s a fixed reduction gear for the ICE. Auto clutch will engage ICE based on load demands like acceleration and going up hills at speed. Otherwise it’s all electric motor baby, with the ability to modulate with throttle and regen braking paddles. Actually a very simplified set-up that should prove to be quite durable.
