OMG I'm so happy for you Carol. I got my Kitchen aid standing mixer at a garage sale for cheap and it's brand new and I love it. I got a lot of the attachments and used some of them already. You are gonna love making your own shredded veggies, cheese and even homemade pasta. You are gonna love it for baking and cooking. You should know by now that the enablers don't mind making both of your lives easier and the enablers also don't mind sharing the U.S knowledge with you. To us, you are family.

So save paper bags if you still get them in the store. My husband has been known to use a propane torch when it’s not going fast enough. Probably not recommended, also uses said torch to weed with.
Recky if you use paper towel soaked in some cooking oil under the charcoal chimney, it will stay lit long enough to ignite the charcoal. I always set mine in the Charcoal grate so it will have lots of air flow. Be very careful when you tip the chimney into the grill. It will be very hot , heavy and sparks will shoot out the back of the chimney. I have never seen one that big. I don't know if they make a gaunlet style barbecue glove , but you will need something to protect your hand and arm. Sincerly Peggy B from NC

Today’s gardening tips- always soak pea or bean seeds before planting, salt your row of radish seeds to prevent worms, and plant onions and tomatoes beside each other as they cross feed each other. Happy Gardening!

Where I live we call the charcoal starter a chimney can. I cannot live without one. I absolutely cannot stand the taste that lighter fluid leaves in my meat.
