Nice home for coastal living. Would be expensive to heat in a cold climate. The convenience of a garage without the costs, could easily incorporate an outdoor shower (necessity for beach life and septic tanks) and enclose an area under the home for beach gear, lawnmower deep freeze, et all without losing parking space. Sure would be fun living on a beach!
A nice design missing only one important item. There is no obvious or even suggested front door. There needs to be a clearly defined entry to the house, preferably with a vestibule.
