I'm currently working on a storybook bag, sagopåse in Swedish. What it is, is a bunch of amigurumi from 4 different fairytales (Three little pigs, Red riding hood, a Norwegian fairytale, and a Swedish children's book story). Some of the figures can be used for multipel stories, the wolf encounters both the pigs and Red riding hood, there's a troll and goats in both of the Scandinavian stories, the hunter from Red riding hood is also the goat shepard from the Swedish story. The bag will be an end of year gift for my nephew's teachers, as it is his last year before starting school in the fall. My sister will often ask me to make these end of year gifts (I've also made 4 bears this year), so that's usually what I will work on during the spring months.
I'm new to your channel and crocheting. Where will I find details on how to finish the tote bag once I've made my granny squares, using existing shopping bags. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas which I'm excited to try.
My favorite small go to project, especially for car crafting: hot pads! I use a double thickness diagonal pattern that works up super quickly... which is a bonus because they seem to disappear for other uses like a plant or bread basket trivet 😂
Luv your videos. Your voice is so relaxing to listen to. Love the bags! Also love the fact that you do not have annoying music in the background playing!
J'aime beaucoup ce que vous faites et merci pour vos partages. A bit difficult to find similar yarn in europe. Work in progress : run table. Thanks to you. Martine. Belgium
It’s ALWAYS terrific to see a video from you! Yay! I hope you’re doing great 😊 thank you for this wonderful roundup! Cannot wait to check out those baskets…I have some “mini bungee” yarn from Hobbii that will be perfect, I think! The hand work out is real, though; you said it! Lol. Happy spring-ish (this Midwest weather is bananas!). ☺️🫶🏻🧶 - Lisa in Oh
Hi…..so good to see you again! 😊 Love all these ideas for spring & summer. I have never used macrame to crochet anything with….but I love your purse 👜 with it so I just may have to make one. Love your baskets too….I like making baskets even tho I haven’t made many of them. Love the fringe on yours. I would like to see light weight cardigans, tops or beach coverups for summer wearables if you could please. Have a great weekend! 😊🧶🦋💜
Hi Tina! I hope you are doing well 😊 Macrame cord is something I'd definitely recommend you try at least once. I have loved every single project I made with it! Also, thanks for the wonderful suggestions. I've been looking for a good excuse to design some fun clothing!
I have done your bouquet and 2 macrame bags (one for me and one for my mom)! I loved the video, hard to pick my next project with so many great ideas. Thanks!!

Awesome! Thank you for sharing. I'm currently doing cotton dishcloths, but I LOVE your idea about Granny squares updating a canvas bag.
That granny square canvas bag was SO much fun! It honestly turned out better than I imagined. Can't wait to share that video next Friday 😆

How fun! Those macrame bags really are great to have around!
I think that for the Popcorn Stitch Flower (7) you could use a 100 % cotton to make it a shower pouf!! I would love it like that!!
Oh yeah! That’s a great idea!
All great ideas! I would love to have patterns for spring/summer tees, tops, and cardigans because I am moving to Florida. ❤
