Hey friend! The word "Dharma" actually means "Justice" in Sanskrit. It seems this word has drastically transformed a lot in Japan. That doll is so cute though. Very good to hold too.
@@rekhaparmar9813 Dharma can mean Behaviour/duties, justice or law. This word is used in various situations. Hi, I have a question. Make a wish and write it on a piece of paper. Paint one eye of the daruma and place the paper below it. Once your wish comes true, paint the other eye. After painting the second eye, what should I do? Should I keep the daruma, bring it to a temple, or something else?

In Buddhism, dharma is the doctrine, the universal truth common to all individuals at all times, proclaimed by the Buddha. Dharma, the Buddha, and the sangha (community of believers) make up the Triratna, “Three Jewels,” to which Buddhists go for refuge.
the way I see it, we're aware that the red color is original for daruma, while we find other colorful ones more cute or fashionable. Moreover some daruma of other colors have specific reason to be painted in different color, for instance Matsukawa daruma is blue. In total even if it is not red, daruma is daruma for us.
😁 優れた❗️That was wonderful and I seriously never understood the meaning of Daruma ( だるま ) and I will keep repeating this video along with the other videos later. I'm decided now to get a daruma tatoo doll
Would giving a dharma to someone be bad? What could it mean then? What is best way to buy if you're not in Japan?
Парень красавец я приобритал даруму за дешовую цену
Can you recycle a daruma? I mean, after you achieved your goal and painted the second eye, can you erase the eyes and start over with another wish?
They kinda burn them traditionally in a temple, so I'm not sure
Can you write and explain the different kanji on the dolls?
well it depends, but mainly the Kanji character which has a good meaning is used.
for instance:
勝:Victory
必勝:Definite Victory
合格:Achievement in Studies
福:Good Luck
Wow! Thank you for clarifying that!! Which one is the symbol for perseverence? I'm looking to purchase one with that symbol.

why do you only paint one eye and not both?
Because second eye is painted after the wish is completed
