The increase in minimum wage will deter companies from coming to the state and reduce expansion for many. Businesses will pass a long the added cost to the goods and services sold. The market should dictate wages.

Minimum wage isn't the problem it's the price of housing, medical, food. Wages go up and so will everything else.

Why use average rent prices as a baseline for $ left in a month for a minimum wage salary?
Disingenuous math trying to prove a point , not to be realistic.
