  • I wanted to do something special for my birthday, so I decided to splurge for a fancy dinner, eating at the world's only 3 Michelin star vegan restaurant: Eleven Madison Park in New York City. it was even voted the best restaurant in the world in 2017 and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the most expensive vegan restaurant in the world too. documented the whole thing cuz i knew it wasn't something i'd be doing often and wanted to remember all the details. such a cool experience.
sorry about the shaky camera and bad audio quality, still learning how to get those right :)

How is caviar vegan? Isn't it fish eggs they get by poking a live fish in the belly ?

Not having kids is the best thing you can do for the environment, being vegan is the second best thing you can do, according to various studies.
Animal agriculture and it’s related industries are one of the biggest drivers of climate change, we could use 75% less farm land, and feed billions of more people if we had global veganism.

    • @DirtyCiv

@temple69 not having kids will cause the extinction of the human race, many countries (especially china and japan) are regretting their low birthrates because their workforce is getting too old to sustain. a vegan diet is not healthy, and to even come close to it being healthy costs much more money than a normal diet. a balanced, normal diet, with consistant excercise is much better. we're omnivores for a reason.

@@jones_y 50% of the oceans plastic and 70% of the ecological damage to oceanic ecosystems is due to wild overfishing and farmed fish. So no, eating fish won’t save the planet. Besides this, it’s unethical.

As a New Yorker I’ll give you some advice, don’t waste your time or your money. If you care about doing something good for the planet go to wholefoods and donate the rest of the $450 to a person who is in dire need and can use it 1000 times better than you.
