I melted the plastic wheels that they were mounted to trying to get my Shodowns off. Only set I've ever melted. Dark wizards they are. Lets see the 2.2 Showdowns!
Now we have to see if the 2.2 Champs (if they exist, which I think they do) perform the same, like the 1.9s No Showdowns have been tested with the new protocol They tie up in 11th place with JC Holds and class 1 Tusks. Really nice. Probably the leader of the price/performance in that 150mm size (there is the RC4WD 2.2 Baja Claw tho)
I think the Fossil is likely no more, as indicated by Horizon blowing them out for $6 a pair. Duratrax was providing too much competition for ProLine I guess, so they axed it.
I have seen a few pairs for sale in the UK that would be perfect for one of my custom 'oversize' 1:10 scale rigs with a 1:8th scale shell on it. Sadly when I have seen them a reasonably sensible price I have had Zero funds and when I had some dosh laid aside for tyres the only sets I could find at that time were around £70 for a set of 4 pre-owned that looked a bit rough in the photos. £70 is a bit too over inflated for second hand tyres! Methinks that some folks are trying to cash in on the good old stuff that is no longer in production. Pffftt.
I have some Lousie CR Rowdy tires I bought used, glued on the stock wheels. They were an absolute nightmare to get off. Used heat, debonder, and in the end a scalpel as well. Worst one to date. Took forever, and they did not look pristine when I was finally able to get them off the wheels. Did some Canyon Trails at the same time, and while not super easy, they were way, way easier to get off than the Louise tires. They sure do love to use _all_ the glue, and then some.
I love and hate rear views, I'm somewhat new to the hobby so it's cool seeing what use to be, but at the same time when it's a awesome tire I get mad I can't have it. Lol.
Speaking of low psi, here's a Dumbview for ya- Traxxas Canyon ATs, the stock Summit tires, on Wolverine? :D I've heard they're surprisingly capable for a monster/basher.

Shame. No idea how they perform, but literally every single large Duratrax I've seen, looks far better than anything from Pro-Line. Did Horizon keep any of their line at all?
Howdy👊 I’m late, I was cutting elk again. We’re all done with the 4 cow elk shot this year.

Louise has Champ, Rowdy and Griffin in the 2.2" size available.
I've been waiting for a 2.2 Fossil for so long now... Can you imagine?? SO GOOD- D;

Farewell Deep Woods, we hardly knew ye. They make Wolverine look like a 1/24 rig on 1.9s.
Evening!
Wagwan Canyoneros 👊
At least we can still get Louise from HRP.
My local shop has fossil in 1.9
These look as they might be a good tire for the Gmade GOM, not?
These would probably be great. You should be able to get Louise and Fastrax over there, yes?

I've been shopping them for a bit, but even on Jenny's, they are $$$
@@CrawlerCanyon Oh!
I found a couple used sets on Ebay for $45-$55 for 4, I think. -Or were you looking for new?

The last remaining was the Fossil, which got clearanced about a month ago. Duratrax appears to be no more.
