That "little $6 detangling brush" is aka a "straw brush". It is made of straw, hence organic material. They have been quite popular, still are in Europe. My local Aldi sells them every year, on the dot, for €4.99 and I just grab a few, because I can't be without a brush like this. I have fine hair, lots of it, but fine hair, and IMHO this type of brush, a dupe to the wet brushes that are so popular, and yes it is a dupe to it, is just... amazing. You can not be without this if you have fine hair. I also got my mom one this past year, she has fine hair, but thin hair, and she just loves it to pieces. She chucked her wide-tooth detangling comb (and me too). I mean this thing doesn't tug at your scalp any while a wide-tooth comb still did. Yeah, it's my only detangling method, has been for years now.
