Thanks, great job! Obviously, you have done this many times and really make it look easy. You know your subject, no hesitation, equipment and supplies laid out, with a great presentation. I'm trying to learn archery and this helps.
Dude has it down for sure and no doubt that he is an expert and I am glad that he put this out here , thanks dude very much ,very well demonstrated and well spoken .
This video was very helpful. At first I was lost because i'm a beginner, but after about 50 rewinds I have my bow set up with all accessories. Now I just have to buy some bow wax, and a wrist strap trigger release and i'm set. Wait what do I do with this peep sight?
Thanks a lot- that was very succinct - easy to follow and straight to the point, I set up my bow while watching it AFTER my own attempts saw arrows fly into walls and into the target stand itself.
Very helpful video,I’ve just got myself a compound bow and I’m yet to set it up,had a longbow 20 odd years ago and want to get back into archery( been practicing on vr games for a couple of years) 🤘🏻😃🤘🏻
i was looking at my compoundbow, thinking a few things didnt look right..... good to know that they installed stuff wrong before selling me the bow >.< thanks for a good video! this really helped me do the adjustments that will make the bow usable :D
The video is very well what happens is that this technology is changing, we are some people who are developing new arcs that are powered by gas and that surely the arc manufacturers like hoyt are studying for the near future. a greeting
So I just bought a compound bow and have no experience with archery or something else. I did everything that was said in the video, but I still have five parts left...welp? 😂
I took a photo 'cause Englisch isn't my mother tongue and it's hard to describe. www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=a04805-1527277476.jpg These are the things that bother me the most. They have a rubber like texture. I guess the two screws, that are left, are spare parts. Edit: And I have the vulture compound bow camo 55lbs from horizone 😊
If I were to come into the shop would someone be able to walk me through the purchase of a new bow and setting it up? I am looking to get into archery but do not know much about it. Thanks
We used a Hoyt Ignite in this video. You can check out more about the bow here: www.lancasterarchery.com/hoyt-ignite-compound-bow-custom-target-colors.html
Hey. I just have a question. I mean im not kinda into this but are you shure, that everything should be adjustet with the eye? I mean thats not that accurate
We didn't forget it....First, not everyone uses a peep, and second, everything we showed are things anyone can do at home. To install a peep, you need a bow press. Most archers don't have bow presses, so that would require someone going to a shop for that job, which means it's something the viewer wouldn't do anyway.
OutdoorsmansParadise First, not everyone uses a peep. Second, the goal is to show people things they can do. To install a peep, you need a bow press. Few people have that, so they'd have to go to a pro shop for that.

What?
I wish every video about archery was accurate and useful and simple as yours , thank you .
Nice video, except you forgot the peep sight

Fantastic content. Thanks for helping out a novice bowhunter.

HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhhahahahahahahahaaahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahHahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Late 2 the party ( as usual) but thank you for this video. It helped a ton!
Anybody else notice that he totally switched his Allen wrenches when no one was paying attention, went from Orange one to silver one lol
Jus do it better.
great video but where's the peep sight ? i need to find out how to put that in .
Thanks for the post 📯
I have never seen so many gizmo's and gadgets just to shoot a friggin' bow in my life.
This is not evan half what it should be
Thank you
can u be more specific on the material your using to make a d-loop and where you can find that material at a local store
The material is actually called "D Loop material." www.lancasterarchery.com/bcy-d-braid-loop-rope-foot.html?cmp=cel&trigger=ac
PEEP sight next video? lol!
Do a "how to set up an Olympic Recurve Bow" next!!
Great video, thank you.
What about a peep sight?
How long of the d-loop did you use LANCASTER
How does the Sight work, isn't it set too high?
Hoe kunnen jullie zo kort de boog testen met pijlen te schieten in doel
No peep sight?
o arco e flecha baseia se na energia que tensiona o arco e a decisão que solta a flecha #cafecomarco
peep sight?
We don't include that because not everyone uses one and because you would need a bow press to install it, which many archers do not have.
i once used a compound but without a release and D-loop, litterally just cocked it with my fingers
that's the only way it was done when I was a kid. the whole D-ring trigger release thing is fairly new
No real reason not to as long as you've got tough enough calluses built
If you get a compound not designed for finger shooters you can very easily derail it
So I just bought a compound bow and have no experience with archery or something else. I did everything that was said in the video, but I still have five parts left...welp? 😂
What do you have left?
I took a photo 'cause Englisch isn't my mother tongue and it's hard to describe.

Can you use paracord for d-loop? Or is it too thick?
Way too thick for basically any release jaws
@@LancasterArcherySupply Go to know. I'm now just learning about bows and stuff.
love you Lancaster
If I were to come into the shop would someone be able to walk me through the purchase of a new bow and setting it up? I am looking to get into archery but do not know much about it. Thanks
sfloyd1058 Certainly!
what is the bow used in the video?
We used a Hoyt Ignite in this video. You can check out more about the bow here: www.lancasterarchery.com/hoyt-ignite-compound-bow-custom-target-colors.html
what do you recommend for a cheap bow lets say like 50-100 dollars
Lancaster Archery Supply thank you :D
literally nothing is that cheap outside of toy bows
tak for hjælpen for mig og min søn.. DK
Watching you Explain how to put this compound bow together almost turned me off archery
It's really not that bad just take you bow and everything else to a pro shop and they get you setup and tuned
AWESOME
Can i take out a deer with that?
Hey. I just have a question. I mean im not kinda into this but are you shure, that everything should be adjustet with the eye? I mean thats not that accurate
I have seen metal d loops , are they any good?
can I use a paracord string for the d-loop
Paracord would be pretty thick.....you might find you can't get your release jaws to close around it.
Lancaster Archery Supply so what type of string is used on this video and where can I get it?
Use this.... www.lancasterarchery.com/bcy-d-braid-loop-rope-foot.html?cmp=cel&trigger=ac

no peep site ?

Oh I see. Thanks
They do make a tool to install one without a press.
does anybody know where I can get some bow cams for a bear authority
How does he know the rest is level
he doesnt this isnt the right way..
You hold the bow in front of you and eye it up, looking at the nock and where the arrow runs through the rest.
Cold send me a compound bow in Guam
Completly useless
I think we can both agree that there is at least some information here.
compound bows are a insult to real archers
Try shooting a recurve bow sitting in a tree stand with branches all around.
Hey, We respect your archery discipline but that doesn’t mean that you can say anything about another discipline of archery
That's like saying hunting with a rifle is an insult to people that hunt with a compound bow, that's what in the hunting game more narrow mindedness.
