All the pet stores are actually required to get cats dogs and rabbit from shelters or rescued so unless she gets one from a breeder it’s going to be a rescue or shelter cat.

The senior cat did get adopted. I volunteered for the rescue organization Emma adopted from, and I can assure you he is in a loving home.

That’s not true at all, I adopted a 6 month old and then I adopted a 2 year old a year later, and then a 7 year old recently. Yes they are still young but most people just go for kittens, and that isn’t how it should be. The older ones need love too. It’s sad to see for sure though.
