I thought I was going to learn just about Studio Drummer. I came out of this video learning a really nice technique on stacking drums to make them more powerful. It's videos like this why I am so invested in the Native Instruments ecosystem
I second that but what's really crazy is learning about dope these vsts that I both own and stupidly ignore🤣 I'm trying to make a vintage type beat and have been struggling trying to get realistic 🥁 never fails.
We're so glad our video was helpful! We'll definitely keep the ball rolling 🚀
@@NativeInstruments help me how to set up in the traktor pro 3 so that one deck can be heard on the computer speakers, and the second deck can be heard in the headphones only when I press the button in the traktor pro 3 on the headphones, but this is on the same Realtek driver sound. But I have an adapter stuffed into the output green in the computer back, I connected headphones and computer speakers to this adapter. but the speakers and earphones work like that on the same socket, but the tractor does not see either the speakers or the earphones.Where can I get that kind of money for a controller, I have a childhood disability, cerebral palsy. You don’t think about such people, you have complicated the traktor pro 3 program so much that without you can't do without a DJ controller. in Ukraine it is not the same as in your country that it is possible for disabled people to earn money, that there is work for them.
Hey, sorry to hear about this!

@@NativeInstruments I solved the problem, I bought usb headphones, I already saw the traktor 3 pro program then both computer speakers and headphones, I’m shocked, the usb socket is an input in the computer through which sound is transmitted when the speakers were connected computer speakers and headphones into one 3.5 jack jack in computers , through the adapter, then the traktor pro 3 program does not see either headphones or computer speakers, but what's the difference that the two devices were connected to the same jack on the computer.
Wow!! Amazing tutorial and inspiring tips. Thank you so much!!!!!! ❤
Thank you for this video....this gave me so much inspiration!!! Great video!!
So helpful, I have been totally under using it up until now
Gorgeous grooves !
Super helpful, thank you.
Amazing! Really cool! 👍
The video and thumbnail show Maschine, and it would be really awesome if all NI drum instruments will be natively integrated into a Maschine group instead of using the keyboard layout for mapping and step sequencing
Great!
Gold!
What would be great is if you guys could make a video on how to trigger and record studio drummer sounds from electronic drums, like Roland TD-50's etc.
Nice illustration.
🔥
Dropping tips everywhere :D
I miss videos like this
Sounds great, but are any plans to upgrade the UI to fit Kontakt 7 ? This library is really old, I think you need to add somethings new to refresh it
Here I am looking at SSDD 5.5 when I already have this including in my komplete ultimate package. I think those may be the only two plugins that I haven't used in the bundle.
Great! But it would be nice if the integration between Battery and Studio Drummer would be more fluent. Like using studio Drummer as a Midi-FX or maybe tailored battery kits so that you don’t have to move all the midi notes.
Out of the box, yeah that'd be dope but at 3:45 I show how to map them by note, you could spend a little time mapping each one to match the battery kit (since battery kits are the same layout) and save it, then drag & drop would be flawless without having to move any notes other than creative decisions on certain grooves and sounds!
Could I use Studio Drummer along with Groove Agent (Cubase) in the same way you just used Battery?
Anyone know where to find the Battery kit he is using Cracked Concrete? I cant find it anywhere
Cool!!!
is Superior Drummer 3 superior? ;)
NI !!! PLEASE : PITCH STRETCHING FOR DRUMS IN THE MASCHINE SAMPLER ! PLEASE !
Is this a part of KOMPLETE SELECT 14?
How can I do this in Studio One
I already have all the other Komplete drums (60s, 70s etc)
What sets this apart?
Late but here goes
Komplete Now is the low cost, instant gratification trap / free trial for people who want some things from Komplete without actually buying Komplete up front.
I would love to have some help. I have a Komplete now subscription I cannot find my Raum effect now on logic.

Could you guys make a hurdy-gurdy pack? That would be so amazing if you did.
You can most likely find some hurdy-gurdy Kontakt instruments somewhere 😉
M2 for Al your products please
Still waiting for integration with Roland v-drums…how long do we have to wait? It’s been years, and whenever I go to the forums to see if it’s been resolved, I just see a tidal wave of disappointed Roland V-Drum users trying ridiculous workarounds to get this setup to work with their kits.
Why on earth wouldn’t the best drum software work with the best studio electronic kits??
What doesn't work about it? Send midi from td to your computer with ni drums loaded...most notes should match up but it's easy to change the instrument notes to match the td notes
Is Studio Drummer still going to work with previous versions of Kontakt like
Kontakt 5 or Kontakt 6 for years to come?
Studio Drummer will remain compatible with Kontakt. However, we're currently focusing on Kontakt 7 so we cannot commit on maintaining Kontakt 6 compatible with future OS.
@@NativeInstruments So if you buy Studio Drummer or any older NI library as a Kontakt 6
user you can still use it in Kontakt 6?
Of course! It will also work in Kontakt 7.
Those last three on the mixer 'OH ST, ROOM & OH M', what's the function of those channels?
Overhead stereo/mono, Room mic(kinda like rever or ambience)
Anyone know why i can't get studio drummer to open on my Maschine? It only comes up on my keyboard, and i kinda got the maschine specifically for the sake of drums
Hi! Our Maschine support team is available here if you need any help: bit.ly/n1msc
this is dope. Does Studio Drummer have 3/4 time signatures groove?
You can find odd time signature presets in Studio Drummer 🥁
Would be great if Native Access would actually be useable. It’s just stuck on the “please grant permission screen” no matter what I do
Sorry to hear you're having issues with Native Access. Can you please contact our Installation support directly so we can have a look together? You can get in touch with us using the form here: bit.ly/n1install
Interesting. I've had Studio Drummer for years as part of the Komplete standard bundle, and it only weighs in at just under 7.5 gigs. So I'm not sure why this guy is boasting it has over 17 gigs. I'm currently running Komplete 14 standard. Can anyone here verify that they have Studio drummer with 17+gig size library?
Kontakt uses it's own compression algorithm, so 17GB Uncompressed = 7,5Gb effective on your hard drive. It's mentioned in the product's page: www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/drums/studio-drummer/
@@NativeInstruments thanks, that makes sense. BTW, no negativity here, I've been an NI user for years and consider your products to be essential in my work. I don't use acoustic drums a ton, but when I do I most often go to the NI stuff. For instance the AR 70s drums are so great. Thanks for your response!
Hi i am looking for violin samplers for Yamaha psr 5000 keyboard . If u you can make it for me I really appreciate it. It’s not free . I will pay for it . Thank u

5:09 Blend Studio Drummer with Battery (play the tracks together).
5:31 Change Mixer settings according to genre.
6:12 Adjust the kick. Turn up the Sends. Overhead mics. Effects. Settings tab.
8:30 Add reverb with Raum.
why does this even involve battery? I came here from studio drummer tutorial, not battery tutorial....... why even make a video thats including other VSTS? Where is the tutorial that is only for studio drummer and how to use the plugin only.
What if I want to replace the Tambourine With Hand Clap in a mixer channel?
What it can't be done!!!!
If it could be done, no one is talking. (Nothing in the PDF manual ).
An old Roland / Boss DR 770 or DR 880 drum machine is still way better.
With the 20 plus year old technology, You can replace sounds under the pads layer sound as well as adjust every parameter of each sound under the 2 layers. WAY MORE DRUM SOUND OPTIONS AS WELL!
I am extremely disappointed with the Native instruments offering in their drums.
From what I have concluded; if you want hand claps to mix in your rhythm track, you have to find a kit that included hand clap in the Locked mixer on one of the tracks, or use multiple instances of different drums, to achieve the sound you are after.
Funny that Technology still hasn't caught up with a little drum machine more that 20 years old.
Native instruments need to fix this obvious issue in their Studio Drummer and Abbey Road Drums.
How hard can it possible be, to allow what is in a mixer channel to be changed to an alternate sound.
make some news with something old , very old, very very old ...
If it is still good who cares how old it is?
I see you’re in a Halloween mood already 😂 ✌️
