BROCKHAMPTON impressed me with their most recent album "GINGER" so i decided to go back to their earlier work. With high hopes I'm here to experience what was most peoples first time listening to BROCKHAMPTON. Lets see if it holds up!

The guy who screams on heat is the same on face singing his name is Joba he is pretty versatile so fucking good tbh
Saul Jared ok that’s dope af! Hella versatile.
The vocals on WASTE is Ciaran "Bearface" McDonald. He closes out all three Saturation projects, and has a killer voice

The beats are made by Jabari, Romil, and Kiko. Joba also produces and handles mixing. Hope this helped!

All three of these albums are classics definitely check out the 1990 singles before iridescence they're pretty good but if you feel iffy about iridescence it's pretty damn good tbh

@@EllusiveMusic Kevin released his own album earlier this year, called Arizona Baby.
Remi I heard a few tracks from it but I’ll have to go back.
@@EllusiveMusic it's a bit different from the Brockhampton albums because it's much more personal and generally just the kind of music Kevin wants to make. They all have some input so Kevin's music is just one end of Brockhampton's music style.

joba is the one who’s singing on face :) he raps as well and is overall very versatile, but his voice is the thing that always stands out to me, it’s so amazing. he’s also the one who raps on the second verse/bridge on big boy (ginger) that’s one of my favorite joba verses by far

Edit: JOBA is the one Singing on FACE, he doesn't have a solo project. But he does have one solo song "Sad Saturday" which is amazing.
Also on WASTE a different member, named bearface is singing. He doesn't appear regularly on songs until iridescence, before then he appears 1-3 times an album singing. Bearface doesn't have any solo material I'm aware of.

Bearface does have quite a lot of solo material and covers (eg. his cover of Drake's Hotline Bling) from a couple of years ago, back when he used to write his name as bear//face, and Joba features on a Medasin track called Daydream and on Blood Orange's Take It Back so you should definitely check that out.
bearface also has covers for MGMT's electric feel and king krules easy easy
Few things - I’ll probably edit this a few times:
Merlyn is from Ghana, not Jamaica. I can see why you were confused.
The BOYS hook is definitely a grower, it’s one of those that you’ll soon be yelling in your room.
For most of their songs, they seem to talk about their struggle in verses and often form it around what is being sung in the hook. So if you’re looking for a theme from verse-to-verse so there’s that.
And don’t lie, that Dom verse on MILK made you cry. Come on bro, it’s okay to show emotion. You’re listening to a boyband.
7/10 is fair. Especially if you’ve heard of GINGER first. I’d probably give this an 9 and GINGER a 8 but that’s probably because hearing this new album from a new exciting group in rap really resonated with me
