I did this same upgrade and would recommend you just only replace the filter with a K&N for about $60 and forget the kit. The intake on all 2016+ Tacoma's is already cold air and 100% as good or better than any after-market cold air intake.
Hi. Thanks for watching. I think you are right. Just replacing the filter is a good option. Basically what I did was to supply air flow more directly to the engine. Tube, filter and the rounded intake in the filter box. Thanks
Love your videos. Concise and you find the easier way of installing things, such as the body armour bumper. You didn't have to take off the stock one like many others did. And thanks for this video. Didn't even know K&N sold this kit.
Yes. It is like having a bit of sound when you want it. Sometimes you feel that you are stock but then you push it and you hear the sound. I had the rough country and it was like noisier inside. This is a factory look with a bit more. Similar or better to the TRD Pro
I think just better response. I couldn't say more horse power as I haven't measured. Regarding mpg I've been able to get 26mpg driving carefully with the throttle on my way home after work.

Ok gracias porque yo le hice lo mismo i bajo de 18 a 13 ala mejor se tiene que calibrar solo.
