It's extremely simple and repetitive, and the instrument balancing has not been done. You need to disable the echo on the master channel, trim and duck the bandwidths on the instruments so they don't bleed into the frequencies of other instruments, raise the volume of the drums COMPARED TO THE OTHER INSTRUMENTS (i.e. don't just make the drums louder, that'll muddy everything up), sidechain the kick a lot and the snare a little, move the main riff to a deeper instrument like a guitar or something as lyrics roll in to keep things interesting, and- you know what, just keep learning. There's a lot of potential here, if you're motivated to refine it.
more percussion, less synth, the backrgound just doesnt sound good, the midi sound should be changed all together. if the background was percussive that would improve a lot
