I probably wouldn't have watched or clicked if it was a 6+ hour VOD but that's just me, I'm sure a lot would like the raw version. This edit did seem perfect for the ranking style of video though.

I am glad you uploaded this because I finally get to respond to it in a way you can actually see, I ported mecklenburg to thugpro, the first version was ported back in 2019, I ported a entirely different version of the map 2 years later, and improved on it heavily, reworked the entire level all over again, it took me 6 months to work on this newer version and I added a lot to it and tried to make it more thugpro friendly. I had a lot of feed back from the community and with that feed back I reworked it over, and over, and over again. Cwalk pushed hard, without him and the feedback I got from the community at large there wouldn't be a mecklenburgv5_a6 port to thugpro. There is a little more to it than just that too that motivated me. The orignal map was from a halflife 1 mod called the specialist, it was used for roleplay servers and was extremely popular. There was about 50 or so different versions of the same map, and offshoots and reworks/remakes of it for the specialist. Almost all of them have been lost to the seas of time on the net most were on fileplanet before the mass purge, or the various server websites before they all died. Back in the day I use to be a admin on a server that hosted v5_a6, and I use to make custom models and plugin mods for it. This was my outlet after thaw died and no one was interested in downhill jam glitches, and ATG fell apart. The regular mecklenburg was my first attempt at making a thugpro level. I don't know why it got popular but it did, in my eyes it was a mess so much so I always wanted to make it better, which is where the newer version comes in. The newer version has a heck of a lot more than the older one ever did and I learned a lot from working on it. It has everything I wanted out of it, and it took prying details out of others who were less than willing to give any information to get what I needed out of it, except sk8ace he helped me with the sound. I credited everyone who helped in any form or way within the map hidden. I did add custom goals to it, and custom lighting effects for time of day and vehicles to single player, and holiday event scripts. There is so much added to the level that it would take me hours to explain it all in its simplest form in text. There is a reason it doesn't use prx and I released the .blend file with it on thpx. I also did this so others could learn especially when it comes to custom goals a lot of the people that actually have them in their maps were reluctant to tell me anything about getting them working and it is stupid simple once you do. I find a lot of the resources online lacking for map creation, the only exception to that is sattan's tutorials really, and even then its definitely just the thinnest layer of frost on a iceberg. It is definitly not mirrored and in HD. Some of the textures are actually lower in resolution to help optimize the level. The only thing I wish I could have gotten baked lighting in but the level but even after optimization I think the level was at its limit and the baked lighting wasn't working right with any of the meshes from the port, only things I added after which looked out of place so I didn't. Its not that I am upset by your rating, I get it, I was a little at first but then I understood why and no matter how much I thps-ify that map someone will always not like it, but it is very different from the other one. If I want to make a good level for thugpro I would want to do it from scratch. The issue is I have kinda moved on from that point now. Also with the current way of putting sounds in the maps there is no way to actually adjust volume as far as I know of.
thanks for checking out my level. i wanted to get a better port of the movie lot made, but the level import tool is not perfect (shoutouts to morten for making it though) - had to do some hex editing to get half of the level to show up. i still want to do it and the other aggressive inline levels justice but i lack the knowledge to make a more complete level import tool..... still, it's always cool to see people playing a level you ported. cheers!
I liked the video, thank you for sharing it. Thanks to all the creators and to cwalker for the collection. I think some parks are not designed for high combos but rather for artistic purposes or as a recreation of other video games, etc. Maybe I should reinstall THUG Pro sometime.

school remix is actually quite good. plays well with boostplants and buttslaps. i always thought it was one of the better custom levels. actually i really think it is the best custom level.

Tier list videos are probably best edited down. Challenge and general play through videos I definitely like watching with minimal edits.

That would took multiple streams on several weeks / months depending on the type of level, it's really time consuming 😅
