The "town too tough to die" has that reputation for a reason. It's the most famous 30 seconds in Wild West history, the gunfight at the OK corral in Tombstone.
Hollywood does liven real events up and stretch the truth a bit and sometimes a lot but if they didn't a significant amount of the movie audience would probably fall asleep watching what really happened or maybe not even show up.
The BEST and MOST authentic version of it I've seen was on the 1970's TV program "David L. Wolper Presents: You Are There"!
Wow, still a great movie! John P.
Why would a video purporting to tell the real story use a photo of John Escapule in place of Holliday?
FYI...At

Anything that comes out of Hollywood must be taken with a sack of salt.

The only thing Wyatt embellished is who fired the first shoots, that was Morgan and Doc who were determined to rid themselves of the cowboys....
Hollywood cannot get anything right.
Wyatt and Doc ruled
Equal parts of both. That is why the media pushes it.
