I have been listening to Dr. Price for over 20 years. What is always amazing to me is people who do not know of him always speak of him as a prosperity preacher. This man has done more than that. He did a series on race and religion. He did a series on Muslims and Christians. He spoke about how God helped him to get out of debt when he was broke and they repossed his car and TV. Because of teachers like him I have been blessed. He spoke to the struggles of minorities when it was not popular. And because of this, others delight in trying to tear them down. If you do not agree turn it off but please do not suggest that what he has done is phony because I am blessed because of biblical teachers like Apostle Fred Price.
Yeah, I was kind of surprised when I heard him being categorized as a prosperity preacher. I never thought that, but then again it's been more than 7 years or so since I last heard him speak. Sometimes I do find it off that the most popular videos made by non-believers and often other preachers and teachers are the 'anti-Church and anti-Preacher videos. The most popular ones are always the "this is what these other preachers are doing wrong" ones. It's like the negative is all that excites some people
And all the series he did was is in error, and took the focus off God and put in upon man. God has warned us about this kind of nonsense throughout the bible. I use to listen to him also. But he was wrong about a lot of things. btw I'm a black woman.

Fred Price has always been known as a teacher and I know that God has given to the Church, pastors, teachers evangelist, etc. and apostles. I know that what He did in past generations, He's still doing today for the equipping of the saints.

There is hardly any Church where Pastors are not publicly ordained. The fact of the matter is that the public ordination or recognition is not what appoints a man a pastor or an apostle. The public ceremony is simply a recognition of the gift and calling of God in the life of the individual. By the time a Church decides to ordain a pastor or recognize an apostle, God has already appointed the person a pastor or an apostle. The Church does not appoint; only God can appoint. What the Church does is to officially recognize the gift. It really does not matter whether the Church recognizes it or not.

People use the title "Apostle" as a way of elevating themselves in ministry. An Apostle is not an elevated position, its just one position that serves a purpose in the five-fold ministry, which purpose is to lay the foundation of the Gospel, as lead by God. (Ephesians 4:11) Missionaries do closer to the work of Apostles that any of the other positions. Just as there was twelve sons, (tribes) of Israel to lay the foundation of the Hebrew nation, were there only twelve Apostles to lay the foundation of the Gospel? Revelations 21:14 says the walls of the city (New Jerusalem) had the names of the 12 Apostles. Four sides, three names. Of course Judas name would not be there; so, is the 12th name Matthias whom the Disciples personal chosen, or is the 12th name Paul'. What every Apostle, including Paul, had in commend was, they were personally chosen by the Lord Jesus Christ himself. That would be Paul. Matthias was not chosen by Christ, but by the drawing of lots (Long Straws?). Jesus speaks about those who call themselves Apostles, and are not! (Revelations 2:2.) Yes, there are some who still operate as Apostles laying the foundation of the Gospel in different parts of the world, but we must be careful of using the position of Apostle as a way to elevate oneself in ministry! - Spoken in Love!

However the point of the matter is, he’s still an Apostle. It shows in His life and Ministry. He’s been on nationwide television since the 1970s. And mind you brother that this Man of God has the greatest of integrity. He has paid every bill on time. Nation wide TV since the 1970. Look at the Magnitude of his ministry. Imagine all the lives that were touched, all the people that were delivered and set free, all the people that were filled with the Holy Spirit, made a decision to follow Jesus because of His example to walk by Faith and not by sight, all the people whose lives have been touched by this ministry gift to the body of Christ. If someone been faithful for years Gods going to promote them. If I’m working a just Faithful for years and years , I’m sure management is going to take note and promote me to a Nother position. Hmm, very interesting video. At the time I am reminiscing about Frederick K.C. Price, with him passing away just yesterday. I would say that Frederick Price has essentially been a good man in my life. I used to watch Ever Increasing Faith on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. on WPIX channel 11 in NYC about 38 years ago. I was searching for God through Jesus Christ, and Frederick Price was the minister who put me on that narrow road of righteousness that leads to salvation. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

Fred certainly got caught up. Matt24:24 also reminds us just how powerful evil will dominate in the last days, but God is ultimately (has ALWAYS been) in control. In this regard, the video is spot on. I was a novice convert/believer (in the Lord at that time) and remember how badly this ‘inauguration’ grieved my spirit. Discernment is everything. The Hand gesture is actually a common hand sign well known in Masonic practices. Eye opening video. This type of service was performed in a Baptist Church I once attended, I left that church because this type of service is not based in biblical Christianity.

I'm not one bit surprised. I spoke in his Church Men's Fellowship in 1980. Because of cancelled meetings and my car breaking down I had to work for a while in a bowling alley as a mechanic. My right index finger was caught in a belt and it tore the ligament and with it a piece of bone. I went to one of his services and he opened up the healing line. I know what I heard. My faith to be healed arose and I wasn't going to waste time and I hurriedly walked to the front. Then Mr. Price rebuked me and said I had broken the flow of the Holy Spirit, embarrassing me before everyone. And you may be very correct brother. My being white had a lot to do with his sudden change of mind. Even if I had misunderstood him, it was totally uncalled for to say I had broken the anointing as if I were some heretic. I had heard he say earlier in the service that God had called him to preach prosperity "to his black people" so that they could come up in society. That reeked of racism. I have never had those kind of feelings toward any black man, as they are my brothers. And how does being financially successful make you anything in God's Kingdom! Did not God say, *"3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, KNOWING NOTHING, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, SUPPOSING THAT GAIN IS GODLINESS: from such withdraw thyself. 6 BUT GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN. 7 FOR WE BROUGHT NOTHING INTO THIS WORLD, AND IT IS CERTAIN WE CAN CARRY NOTHING OUT." Being a catholic theologian, I am not a position to judge the disposition of their hearts. But I have to say this , they need to develop a strong liturgical theology in order to provide a strong liturgical tradition based on their own theological persuasion. In the catholic tradition, solemnity, liturgical order and consistent symbolism is very important. But again, I am coming from a catholic point of view of which to most of you may find it quiet a jargon. By all means, I hope the Holy Spirit will guide them, not just to preach but also to live an authentic lives. Let us try not to demonize one another. Non-believers are reading your comments. It is not a good and proper way to witness.

I have been listening to Dr. Price for over 20 years. What is always amazing to me is people who do not know of him always speak of him as a prosperity preacher. This man has done more than that. He did a series on race and religion. He did a series on Muslims and Christians. He spoke about how God helped him to get out of debt when he was broke and they repossed his car and TV. Because of teachers like him I have been blessed. He spoke to the struggles of minorities when it was not popular. And because of this, others delight in trying to tear them down. If you do not agree turn it off but please do not suggest that what he has done is phony because I am blessed because of biblical teachers like Apostle Fred Price.
Yeah, I was kind of surprised when I heard him being categorized as a prosperity preacher. I never thought that, but then again it's been more than 7 years or so since I last heard him speak. Sometimes I do find it off that the most popular videos made by non-believers and often other preachers and teachers are the 'anti-Church and anti-Preacher videos. There is hardly any Church where Pastors are not publicly ordained. The fact of the matter is that the public ordination or recognition is not what appoints a man a pastor or an apostle. The public ceremony is simply a recognition of the gift and calling of God in the life of the individual. By the time a Church decides to ordain a pastor or recognize an apostle, God has already appointed the person a pastor or an apostle. The Church does not appoint; only God can appoint. What the Church does is to officially recognize the gift. It really does not matter whether the Church recognizes it or not.

People use the title "Apostle" as a way of elevating themselves in ministry. An Apostle is not an elevated position, its just one position that serves a purpose in the five-fold ministry, which purpose is to lay the foundation of the Gospel, as lead by God. (Ephesians 4:11) Missionaries do closer to the work of Apostles that any of the other positions.
Just as there was twelve sons, (tribes) of Israel to lay the foundation of the Hebrew nation, were there only twelve Apostles to lay the foundation of the Gospel? Revelations 21:14 says the walls of the city (New Jerusalem) had the names of the 12 Apostles. Four sides, three names. Of course Judas name would not be there; so, is the 12th name Matthias whom the Disciples personal chosen, or is the 12th name Paul'.
What every Apostle, including Paul, had in commend was, they were personally chosen by the Lord Jesus Christ himself. That would be Paul. Matthias was not chosen by Christ, but by the drawing of lots (Long Straws?).
Jesus speaks about those who call themselves Apostles, and are not! (Revelations 2:2.) Yes, there are some who still operate as Apostles laying the foundation of the Gospel in different parts of the world, but we must be careful of using the position of Apostle as a way to elevate oneself in ministry! - Spoken in Love!

However the point of the matter is, he’s still an Apostle. It shows in His life and Ministry. He’s been on nationwide television since the 1970s. Hmm, very interesting video. At the time I am reminiscing about Frederick K.C. Price, with him passing away just yesterday. I would say that Frederick Price has essentially been a good man in my life. I used to watch Ever Increasing Faith on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. on WPIX channel 11 in NYC about 38 years ago. I was searching for God through Jesus Christ, and Frederick Price was the minister who put me on that narrow road of righteousness that leads to salvation. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."

I'm not one bit surprised. I spoke in his Church Men's Fellowship in 1980. Because of cancelled meetings and my car breaking down I had to work for a while in a bowling alley as a mechanic. My right index finger was caught in a belt and it tore the ligament and with it a piece of bone. I went to one of his services and he opened up the healing line. I know what I heard. But again, I am coming from a catholic point of view of which to most of you may find it quiet a jargon. By all means, I hope the Holy Spirit will guide them, not just to preach but also to live an authentic lives. Let us try not to demonize one another. Non-believers are reading your comments. Jacob wasn't in the NT, but you are correct...Apostles are people that were handpicked personally by Jesus Christ to start the church. Prophets are people who received visions from God, so if you see a modern man calling himself prophet and apostle, he is a false person.

Certainly, there were no rings given from Jesus to His apostles.
