I could use some support in this community. A few months ago, a big scandal rocked my family to the core. My uncle was arrested for drug possession and stolen property. His abuse of my grandma came to light: stealing money from her, making her pay for his groceries and gas for his car, and so on. Since then, my parents have cut him out of our household. He's not even allowed in the house. Which isn't new, to be honest. My cousins have a history of drug problems of their own. One even has to wear an ankle bracelet.

I related with this so we'll. My mother b4 she past had told me the exact words. " You don't need to tell the world everything about you!". She was sooo correct. It hurts but the hurt comes with growth and lessions. My total trust goes only to God 🙏

This Lesson is Something that happens to Me Because I am Nice To People and they Confuse My Kindness For Weakness ……..
Joyce is so correct about all of this. People disappoint. People will hurt you and some will not let you show the proof when you are correct about an argument. Be careful who you confide in. Joyce is just so correct about all of this!!! I'm a new Christian and I wish I knew this. What solid advice. I was isolated because of a person, so when I got free, I spoke to everyone because I had no one to talk to for 6 years. Unfortunately, I am still paying the high cost of it. Discernment. All through Proverbs it says over and over about guarding your tongue. Joyce talks about it a lot for good reason. I am just like her, so when she teaches about the tongue over and over, it's for our benefit to heed her words because it's all God's Word.
My mother always told me this “Be careful of the flowers you pick, cause you never know there may be a snake underneath that flower that can and will bite you”

You need to protect your boundaries. You're not doing yourself or him any favors by letting him live with you when he's treating you badly. Be the parent he needs and kick him out. It will hurt you and anger him, but it sounds like you've been too afraid to face hurting yourself and angering him in the past by doing the disciplinarian and right thing. However do not blame yourself! He's a grown man and now he's responsible for his own actions. You know in your heart it's the right thing to do. Don't let fear stop you. Kick him out give it to God and let go. It might be the best thing that ever happened to you both. You will get strength and he will respect you in the end even if it takes a few years. And whatever you do do not support either of them financially in any way!! You've done your part, it's time for you to take care if YOU. They need to learn how to be respectful and how to be a man. You got this Mama, I'm here for you if you want to talk 💖

when you are married to a narcissist that cannot stop themselves from needing that constant attention and other women, are you supposed to stay?
