Much love guys! Was a pleasure! 26:50 need to mention that I did a mistake in explanation, I did not count performances LESS than 20k people, and all performances that I mentioned in video was about 35-40k ppl.
Taras has been a beast since, idk, 2016/2018 as far as i've been listening to him. Always been powerful, creative and well rounded, and he's just been getting better. I know this DnB routine he did, something very similar was done against Routrine in the Russian Champs 2018, i recommend people checking it out. I have a big admiration for the russian beatbox scene, and i'd say that the scene itself is pretty underrated (a little put down because of the crowds, energy and stuff), and i wish there would be a russian champs soon. Lots of potential with Checkmate, Daniel, Scream, Iftihor, Routrine (one of craziest basses ever), EXPL, Siri, Zag1r, Major (which i think stopped beatboxing as i asked Taras and Zag1r in a livestream), and, mainly, for me, one of the greatest ever, Pizzicato, i can't put into words how much i admire his art and wish he was more active somehow; I'm just really happy Taras is getting the recognition he deserves. Ya Na Ha is doing a refreshing job for the community just with one impactful wildcard, who knows what they will bring next. More than everything, it's giving some fantastic beatboxers a chance to shine. Vahtang is one of the legends i always wished would have come back to the community being aware of how timeless he is, Andrey is an absurd singer and i wonder how good of beatboxer he is as well, Helium is expanding his catalog and ideas growing as an artist, and Taras is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
Really love this episode... Feels like super professional high level interview of some sort... And Taras is so eloquent and like some CEO. In contrast with his usually funny crazy personality.

I love this podcast. As an Idea maybe you could decide a genre each episode and in the next episode you both have to present a routine in said genre. Like both of you have one week to prepare a drum and bass beat.
The guest they invited was Taras but he also brought Helium along aswell which is a huge bonus, but make sure that Helium is also sufficiently included. Like alot of the instagram questions he couldve also answered.
taras is cool on video and probably really nice to be around irl, i think his comments just come off as aggressive because english isn't his native language preventing him from really getting the words out this was an interesting podcast, one of my favourites so far! wish their crew the best of luck with the world tours
I think sometimes he's in more of a troll mood haha, like in some of his streams. He's in general just quite blunt, which may or may not be toxic depending on how you take it ig
In terms of the potential popularity of beatboxing I'd just mention again the acapella group Maytree getting hundreds of millions views in a few years just cranking out acapella covers with great singing and more sounds from the beatbox scene. I really think there's room for something in between the typical acapella format and beatboxing if you can get a few great singers together and some really impressive and clean beatbox sounds to just blow up in popularity. (Making this comment before the video release, but excited to see where the discussion goes).
I’ve got a question for the 2 of you and whatever people you on next: Do you use your stage names when you are chilling with beatboxers you are friends with or their real names?
Very great video! The way you handled the interview was great. But, am I the only one who would love if it were 20-30mn longer? I feel like some topic were not fully explored. I just enjoy the format a lot!
Great episode with 2 amazing beatboxers! For a future episode, maybe you can talk about your personal top 5 beatboxers, or perhaps the GOATs of beatboxing who changed the scene/influenced you?
I think a really good weekly small segment for the podcast could be a part on what sounds/combos you guys are currently working on. Just a quick demo of progress. It would be really cool for normal people to see pro beatboxers get better at something over the weeks, it would be encouraging and positive I think for the viewers.
I think a good idea on this podcast is before you guys interview the guest, you should do a beatbox impersonations or guess the beatboxer then the wheel of death beatbox challenge. A good beatbox sesh and a good laugh before a good podcast
This one was great .. i think I understand Taras's point better now and even though i don't completely agree with him, i do think he's got a good point to be taken into consideration. I think both sides of the spectrum are important but stage experience should come as a relevant factor but then organisers should facilitate more chances for this and a better way of assessing the quality of stage presence, not just by hearsays, if you know what i mean.
I know it's really late, but can you guys make a talk about equilibrium's tag team gbb wildcard? There was a lot of controversy because they couldn't make it.
Hello B-Art and Madox! I have a question for you guys: Do you guys think that beatbox's hype is kinda fading? For me it is. Since the fall of SpenserX's fame people don't seem to be inteserted in beatbox anymore.
I don't think it has to do with SpencerX. To bring in more fans, probably, but even the active community is kind of fading I believe the best and most hype GBB was 2019, after that Covid hit and things started to slow down. Even after that, SBX has been making some questionable choices regarding their events and uploads In 2018 and 2019, Codfish and Dlow were massive fan favourites - at a time Codfish even had more subs than SBX. I believe they really carried the event's popularity. There hasn't been anyone that prevalent after that (Colaps is very skilled, not denying that)
U seem delusional, but i don't know why. Thing is, beatbox have never been as hype as now. It is clearly exponentional actually, there has never been this much random people who start to understand / recognize / listen to it.
Depends where you look, GBB views seem to be down, but people like Show-Go are blowing up in popularity. There’s a lot of potential, but it’s hard to say what will suddenly take off.
@@YnEoS10 That's interesting, didn't think of that! Yeah the battle scene is pretty dead rn, and SpencerX - arguably the most commercially successful beatboxer - has been inactive for a year But the Korean and Japanese communities are developing a lot behind the scenes
I dont know why should experience be a creteria in judging its so useless its like ahh if youre world champ and you do shitt wildcard then also you have an advantage of being experienced,we’ve seen new school beatboxer being better than the old school before.its about what can you deliver not everything comes from experience
