Elie. The bag teaches you to hit something more similar to the resistance of a person, the bag will force to keep balance( if your feet are bad, you’ll fall over. You also have to align your punches properly because you’ll hurt your wrist or hands.... you can get away with a lot on the mitts.

Chin checker, I think you are right. In the book Blasting Boxing Myths by Al Praktik, the author recommends fighters getting together and teaching themselves. It makes great sense. Says all you need is sparring, Advises against bags and pads. I think he is right

laffy krea maybe you’re a young person and haven’t been around boxing for long but there have been many great boxing trainers that never boxed. Most notably Angelo Dundee, Cus D’Mato, Gil Clancy and Ray Arcel. Look them up and you’ll find out who they trained

Huelga, I didn't know that. I read a great book called Blasting Boxing Myths by Al Praktik and he claims that bags and pads are not only a complete waste of time but also harmful. Makes a lot of controversial claims but I agree with him

Im mexican and my parents were rough and honest....my pops trained me in soccer and i joined clubs cuz my pops was busy workibg jobs to provide and one time he had time to watch me play and i was excited and busted my ass off....
After the game i went up to my pops and was like ""wat u think pops??""

Bro i have seen many champs who came from no experience awhile bunch with there trainer! It all depends on how well you train yourself and having good in ring experience.
Again many out there who are self built and many more to come, so definitely dont get mis encouraged by so call pro trainers, and robert is done he has nobody anymore, he inly has one solid fighter witch i doubt he will ever be a too prospect! Brandon was always trash, mikey was okay but looked horrible in his last fight, again every trainer think theyre the best!

Elie, Boxing wasn't for me without a union. Mando Ramos knew that I'd put them in stretchers. Look at fighter Max, no benefits. I wasn't going to box unless there was going to be a union healthcare and welfare benefits packet for all pro fighters. This would make me feel better about not worrying about maimed and deceased fighters. Elie, if you love boxing you have to be ready to die in the ring and the after effects create somber so what better feeling than knowing it's all taken care of. If you guys need to see if boxing is really for you?, even with champions just let me know.
Some trainers might not know as much but little by little they will improve them selfs . But on the other hand its the trainers and fighters fault for not listening and not being discipline

Carlos Solorio, Notice how this stupid conductor of bad news has become an escape hatch too. If someone see's you coming and doesn't even want to make eye contact they immediately grab their phone? People that for whatever reason end up walking instead of driving, they're looking in their phone. Makes you want to yell "Yeah, you're still walking emeffer!. No matter what though, if I'm speaking to someone and grabs for their phone without it ringing I walk away immediately.

Elie, May 7th this year a rottweiler, pit bull mixed attacked me, left me with 46 stitches around both my fist and wrist, including my left leg and a bite on my chest. I had to king kong the dog, luckily the owner finally got a water hose because I told her I was going to kill her dog. Anyway that's been ther only rest for me not smashing fists but now I'm back. Manny is not getting away from me sparring him, I want you to be there.
