PCT hiker vlogs are my "reality TV" of choice. I usually follow a half dozen or so channels each spring, and view episodes when I am working out at home. Therefore, it can take awhile before I see a newly posted video. Watched your last two episodes yesterday, and was so happy to see you and Anna touch the northern terminus. Please accept my belated congratulations. You two and the other PCT'er provide inspiration and incentive for me to continue staying in shape at my Medicare age. Thank you allowing me to follow along with your journey. All the best!
Keep the beard. It gives you that outdoorsman rugged look. Your conclusion of your journey was done so well. You both are such beautiful people. We're going to miss you. ❤😢😢😂😢😢😢
Love the beard clip. When I hike more than 3 days on a trail, my biggest issue is facial hair. I despise the feeling of it! When I go into town for a zero my 1st thought is to shave. LOL
Great wrap-up video for the trail, and I look forward to more post-trail informative videos about gear, trail food, etc. I'm sure it won't be long before you also treat us to more great views from new trails. Cheers!
It must feel sort of anti climactic to hike back from the terminus. Especially in WA bipolar weather, emphasis on polar. But on the upside, got some epic fall colors. 😊How awesome that you got to see some ‘old trail friends’. Isn’t it great how the trail provides?! You even got some doggie time. I’m sure you are so glad to be back with your dog baby now. Thanks for the beard evolution clip. lol. Made me giggle.
Wonderful videos! I will watch again from episode one through finish when I start to get the winter blues. Your videos will help me through them. I have a couple of questions.....how did you edit your videos while on trail? What editing program did you use and how did you store that much video while on trail? I'm assuming it was phone video.
Nice Forrest Gump reference! And, congrats! And, for a Q&A episode: how did Anna like her Black Diamond hoodie? As good as merino for managing heat and odor?
Nice to see you're enjoying all those reunions and that there was so much camaraderie amongst fellow hikers at the end of the trail. Other than getting back to your favorite brewery (prior post) how do you go about readjusting to "real life?" I would think that could be a challenge. Or perhaps things just fall back into place. Anyway, an epic trek, a great accomplishment, and a fabulous job on the channel.
It’s funny, while on the trail it felt like an entire year was passing and re-entry seemed intimidating. But things are falling back into place and we’re excited to be back with our dog! We do miss the simplicity of life on trail though. Thank you for following along! 😊
Loved your videos, thank you for sharing your journey, Q. what did you use to charge your electronics while on trail and how did you make the videos using only an Iphone?
Again….great videos. Enjoyed every single one. So Q and A question. I started my section hike this year and ran smack dab into plantar fasciitis after 3 days. Couldn’t walk on my left heel at all. Bad pain. 😢. Was there a routine stretching thing you two did, morning and evening, to avoid injury? I hooked up with Blaze Physio finally, and symptoms are disappearing. Two months post trail. 😊
Thank you so much! Yes, Blaze is awesome and helped me so much. I switched my shoes from zero stops to the Topo Ultraventures. Also stretch out my ankles and calves every morning! Glad your PF is recovering ❤️🩹
Wow, I wondered who Anna was hiking with now! So, how much weight did ya'll lose on trail? I thought there was a trail south then southwest that one could use to get to Seattle? Seemed it stopped or passed a lake?
My husband and I loved following your journey. Thank you for sharing it! I'm wondering if you have plans to finish parts that you missed such as Section K? I'm originally from WA and that is the best part of the WA section IMO. It was SO fun to see you do parts that we have hiked! If you do more hiking videos we will definitely be watching! Cheers!!
Thank you so much for joining us!! We definitely want to go back for the part we missed by crater lake and section K. Hopefully we can make it happen in 2025
Congratulations!!! Amazing accomplishment. When you are all settled can you do a post trail review of the TT Dipole Li vs the Double Rainbow DW that you started with? Thx.
I’m so curious, did either or both of you lose significant weight during the journey. It was hard to tell from your photo montage because your beard was so thick.
Curious about calories and weight loss. Early on Anna mentioned the amount of calories she was aiming for. It sounded low, maybe? I Doing the JMT twice and Yosemite through Desolation I lost a lot of weight and I probably had 3000 calories a day.

Thank you for all your videos! A lot of future hikers would probably benefit from video abour resupply.
As a fellow long distance hiker and thru hiker of the PCT ( 2020, trail name Dos Equis) You May Leave the Trail but the Trail Never Leaves You😎
Absolutely epic.

That’s a great wrap and I loved the beard progression!
Awesome beard slide show!!
Nice work!
Congratulations! 🫡
So glad to see you both again! I hope it’s not the last time. There is still content to be had 😁. 🥾🥾

12:42 I've been watching for 5 months. Why would I stop now? Looking forward to your next adventure. 😎👍
Thanks for following along! 😊

Absolutely!! Thanks, Dad ❤🫶
Just keeping walking north until it gets too cold :)

Congratulations on your completion of the PCT!
My burning question is what trail do you guys have your sights set on next!!!
Thank you so much! We have more on the horizon, stay tuned 😉
Good job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Congratulations to you guys
Thank you!
You go first! 😂😂
Loved watching your journey. If you had one week to hike, which section of the PCT would you recommend and why? Thanks!

how was your tent? big enough? problems with setup/quality/etc?
I would love to hear how Anna worked through her Plantar Fasciitis. What shoes, insoles, exercises, etc she did. Thanks!

Was that a hat tip to the end of Ferris Bueller?
