- the gopro doesnt do this place justice ride along for one of the knarliest gncc tracks there is on the schedule! snowshoe mountain in west virgina this place is unbelievable and this year was the first year conditions were actually the best while it rained a little wed/thurs/fri/sat it wasnt enough to make it a usual mudder we all expect from snowshoe this year it was fast and obviously it had its muddys spots and slow and rough and technical spots howards hole ended up being the worst part of the track! this course runs on two sides of the mountain so each side counts as a lap 9.2 miles on the east side and 5.3 miles on the west side!
i had a great start 3rd into the trail and quickly worked my way into second but a small mistake followed by more each lap would set me back from the lead pak id finish 6th in class and 60th overall which for this track im not completely upset finishing this place alone is a win as last year i broke down on lap 3 we will regroup and get ready for wnyoa next weekend and one more gncc the week after!

Dude I LOVE your channel. There’s nothing I would love more than to see this sport grow and it’s content like yours that could turn people over and show newcomers how great it truly is. Your vlogs show what a great total experience it is, your helmet cams show how fun the racing itself is, and the drone footage adds professionalism and production value. Not to mention all the other stuff like pit stop footage etc. Well done sir, keep up the good work showcasing the awesome experience that is cross country racing. Thanks man appreciate the kind words! still new to this hole thing but i think I’m improving each video i have some great video from this race aside from my race action! I captured a ton of 11am race action plus some vlog action and what i hope to be the big winner some pm action at howards hole w 2 gopros in two spots plus lots of drone shots as well im gna be busy this week! I think gncc is doing good w numbers but i think theres room to grow if my content gets some new racers out there than that is awesome!
Raced it in 2014 and 2016. I loved it! It's super technical and beats the hell out of you and machine but it's such a blast to race there! Miss it......

Place is awesome this year was the best conditions we’ve had I’ve been going since 2015 and every year it rains so bad its brutal! My camera def doesn’t do it justin on how gnarly this place is! Thanks btw!

Looks like the big tires worked now all you need is a 4 inch suspension lift for them Big ASS rocks ! Way to go man , never give up !

I watched the entire video...what a struggle!!.... they should rename that track “Roots and Rocks”... that tree literally squeezed your quad! Friggen stroke of bad luck....how about when they redirected you and people had to scamper out of your way......that was whacked...

This is Crazyyyyyy. How long is one LAP? Looks like a lot miles, but you are doing great. Only one time see that you get the wrong turn ;). This race is amazing. Can wait for your next videos!
The total track was around 15 miles long but thats split in 2 sides of the mountain so each count for a lap one side was 9.3 miles the other was almost 5 miles i haven’t looked at lap times yet but id say its 35-40 min for a complete lap we race for 2hrs

Ya its no joke and we always go over two hours pros finish in 2hrs mayb 5-10 min over depending on the track and time and then everyone else is after ive been out there at times for almost 3hrs man its nuts!
@@ononewheel7 3 hours is amazing thing to drive on that conditions and under pressure. You are Great man. Probably you and quad got a lot more mud weight after finish - hahahah. Hope you get some great place at the final :)
Ya the mud can pile up quick adding 100+ pounds easily this race wasn’t that bad compared to the past few years it was way worse this year was actually the driest its been!

I just have a small tip that could help could not and you don’t have to do it you can dump the clutch saying obviously not full throttle but like half throttle or quarter if u want
Ya that may have helped but w conditions i was tryn to go easy and w tall rear tires i wasn’t tryn to tear apart the transmission

Hey man. Are you running the chest mount? And I live about 1.5 hrs from snowshoe. West Virginia is some of the best riding land there is for technical riders. Very rocky and slick

FullBoar Goons ok nice i wish i was closer to some larger riding areas we have nothing close here the largest area we have thats like that is ride the wilds in new hampshire but thats about a 5hr drive and its really meant for sxs vs sport quads but it does have about 1000 miles of trails!

I’m from Rhode Island. Rode woods my entire life on a sports quad always wanted to race as a teen and never got into it. Now that I’m in my 20s I have more time and disposable income.. I ride a 400ex what organization can I check out to start racing come spring ?

It will be the closets for you all races are in western,NY. If you want to race the best of the best check into GNCC the drives will be 2-3x as long one way but its worth it.

Just for snowshoe its a live engine. They don’t have the room to line classes up like normal.

Depends on the weather any track is hell w rain this one is too. But it is one of the funnest locations regardless.

I have seen a couple other videos w some fans falling pretty good and i think we saw one person being carried out by people not sure what happened if they fell or got run over or mayb they were just drunk and passed out lmfao!!
ononewheel7 yeah maybe all of the above. The crowd is so thick in places it almost looks like it forces your line..?? And yeah, I was definitely wondering if more people get run over. They could sell T-shirt’s, “I got rammed in Howard’s Hole”. Although that’s not very family friendly.

Wow that course is ruff, I believe I could run faster lap times on my Can-am Outlander 1000 XMR on this course than my Raptor 700.
A 4x4 would def be a better choice w the conditions here check out the 11am race coverage i some vid of the 4x4 pros they are nuts haha!
Camera only does half the justice of how rough that track really it is, it’s so fun tho
