ok guys first off let me just congratulate Walker fowler on his 5th consecutive championship its truly amazing to witness his success over these past 5 years and I don't think he's done yet!
I think next year will be one hell of a season to follow watching walker aim for a 6th title!
ok now I also have to send out a HUGE thank you to walker for doing this! we had talked over summer break and walker was in for the idea as long as a few conditions were met number one being he wrapped up the championship early which thankfully he did! so we were gna run ironman but I figured why wait and he agreed to this round! thanks again walker!
ok so guys buckle up relax and watch the fastest man on 4 wheels your 5X champ Walker fowler tackle this pretty knarly brand new track GNCC gave us!
walker would enter the woods second behind Hunter hart but quickly takes over that number one spot! leading just about the whole race walker had a good sized log hold him up lap 3 and causing him to loose the lead which is a bummer but lets not forget he is already the 5X champ so he did finish on the podium in 3rd keeping that streak alive for the 2019season! great ride walker and thanks again! This looks like my normal rides on the weekends. I'd like to run against this kid... I'm an old fuck now at 49 yrs old but the woods have been my thing for years. I'm too old to compete, nor do I have any interest at this point in time, but it looks like a lot of fun. Just refreshed my fleet with a new 2020 YFZ450R after coming off two Raptor 700s (07 and 09). I wonder if Bill Balance and Doug Gust still ride? LOL Balance would of been my competition if I would of raced GNCC. Saw many ATV MX races at Red Bud back in the day. Good times!
Sweet man! This guys the soon to be 6X champ you will be lucky to see him for 10 seconds when he laps ya lol the front row in GNCC is for real no joke! Bill balance has been retired now for many years but when he was out there he was a beast! I am 43 and race senior A!

Thanks man i was pumped when i talked w him i think it was just after snowshoe and he was in as long as a couple conditions were met! They were so we made it happen this race walker is the man super cool dude and one hell of an atv racer!
It’s like he’s on train tracks it goes wherever the front wheels are pointed and it’s always on all 4s it’s just amazing the way they got their set ups dialed in so perfect.
I was mentioning that in another comment his quad barely moves around and it is 100% planted unless he purposely is jumping something! You can see the difference if you watch my video my setup is good but my machine is moving around way more! Walker is such a smooth rider notice also how very rarely he’s on the rev limiter compared to hunter hart in the beginning!

His ability, vision, and homework to study and dial in to each track is impressive. With hard to see trails not yet beat in, he picks his way thru and navigates stumps, limbs and sections with ease! Great video, thank you!

Crazy to hear the difference in riding style...Fowler seems smooth and controlled while the leader is wide open, banging the limiter and yet walker is right on his heels

I use gopro hero7 blacks for videoing all of them i have on 1080/60 and i use power director 17 for my editing!

ononewheel7 does having that kind of thing like powerdirector to edit and upload make that videos clearer when you post them? I’m having trouble getting my videos to not have that fuzzy look to them. Can you offer any suggestions? Thankyou so much
casey harrell what kind of camera are you using? Downloading rite from the gopro to youtube will also have the same quality!

I always wanted to do this type of racing on my TRX250r but im old..I just stick to a 1/3 mile flat track.
Age is just a number im 45 and know guys older that rip.
@ononewheel7 how do you keep thumb pump down? If I go hard in the paint just for 5mins my thumb hurts so bad I have to stop, or let off because it’s too painful or I cant feel my throttle any more, Is there a trick?
Just ride more try doing 1hr non stop rides!
Try and keep a decent pace dont overdue it after some practice you should start to get rid of it!
i used to use a device called a gyro ball check it out!

This is why i like doing mx practice for woods training! Usually with mx you can work up arm pump really quick vs trail riding! So its good practice to recreate it then try and ride threw it!
Should I buy a yfz450x or a yfz450R if I have intentions of racing atvmx?
For mx go with the yfz450r as it comes stock in mx width the x model is narrower for woods! Also they stopped making the x models in 2010 so they are around but more r’s are available!

I wanna race quads. I have a trx250ex with a sport clutch. I'm kinds tall for one and I want a 450. I only really have enough for a 400ex though.
You could start w the 250 and upgrade when you can! How old are you?

Damn, I bet your neck, back, and wrists have to be roasted after one of these! 4 tires hooking up in all directions, getting jerked around laterally ricocheting off rocks and roots. I don't ride quads, but been on them enough to know the steering kicks back. Shifting would be a bouncing nightmare. No wonder you never left the Rekluse once you tried it! 👍
Our quads all have stabilizers which helps a ton along w some great suspension i could say the same about bikes 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but ya the rocks and trees at times can suck!
ononewheel7 Ah, didn’t think about the stabilizers because we dirtbikers don’t need those as much 🤣 Been 16 years since I sold quad parts. That probably helps a ton.

It helps w bump steer and over handling if you happen to catch something on your tire it will help to absorb that impact! Its a must have for any quad!

I’m Davis they have classes for all ages from peewee riders all the way up to silver masters (60+) 🤣🤣 how old are you?

I’m Davis they would have a class for you in the youth races at 8am
If you go the the gncc website it should say all the classes and ages and you can see which one suits you best!
