Imo 2017 is where maxes story reached its climax, from when he first arrived on the square, it feels like his whole story had been leading him to this moment, going insane and breaking down over his past and all thats happened, Max Brannings character transformation is probably the best in soap, from wanting to be a family man to a complete lunatic
