1A Auto Shows you how to install a fog light upgrade kit. This video is applicable to the 06, 07, 08 Honda Civic.

It's not a kit if you need to purchase additional items! You guys need to include that FUSE TAP in your Supposably "kit".

Those are not cruise controls buttons by fog light switch. They are dimmer switch and mph/kilometers per hour. Great video and really helped me install my fog lights. Thanks

Cant seem to get my lights to turn on
There are two screws holding both ends of the bumper cover, if they are not removed it’ll break the tip of the bumper cover where the screw go through.
How come ny wiring looks different, i never got that pre fused wite for the fuse box
Thanks so much without your video I wouldn't have been able to install OEM switch like , I would ha ve installed an ugly generic switch with little room to operate !

honda has a special plug going from engine bay to the compartment.
no connector plugs or wire?
That's nice, but I have a VSA button and window switch where you have a pocket. The VSA button should fit the new bezel fine, but where am I supposed to put my window switch?
The switch harness I have for my civic lx 2008 comes with a power red wire, black ground but then a white wire that has a end connector on it as if it needs to be bolted down?
Did you figure out how to get it to work?

What is the purpose of the micro fuse tap. Is it required for installation. My fog light kit came with everything minus the instructions and the micro tap. I have everything else included

How do u adjust the aim on the fogs? Is there a certain settings or you have to aim it at wall and adjust?
What would be the cause of doing exactly this (other than hard wiring to battery because I do not want to add a bunch of things to the battery directly), but the fog lights don’t come on (new bulbs), but the light does? I’ve tried running the power source wire that’s connected to the relay to the fog light location (brown clip located by steering column area) and even tried splicing it into the ignition wire, but same results.
I saw a Honda on where they add the oem fog switch and wiring
is this tutorial the same for the 09-11 2dr civics just with ought the cutting?

Hi, What's the socket of the light?
Mine is a literal different. I dont have that weird fuse plug in thing. I just have a Male connector thay is supposed to go into a female push connector and locks itself, but I cannot find any other female connectors. Could I just splice it into a random wire thay gets power to it?
I’m trying to replace my fog lights since one is cracked. I have an 07 civic. Would I just have to unplug my other ones currently on my car and then plug these in or would I have to completely re do my fog lights with this kit?
Do the fog lights only turn on when the low beams are on? Or can they be turned on with the DRL?
You will have to custom wire them to turn on without the low beams

Hey! I love your videos and I decided to buy a fog light kit and install them on my 2008 civic ex sedan, problem is, I never got a switch bezel nor the block-off plates in the kit -just the fog light button. I tried looking for the honda part number for this switch bezel piece and I found it in diagrams but the part number itself seems to be unavailable or discontinued. Where would I be able to purchase this piece by itself??

how would you go about splicing the fog light into the low beam headlight harness so that they both come on at the same time. I dont need an independant switch to turn the fog lights on individually.

Would you happen to know the part number of the rubber grommet in the fender well? The one you ran the wires through to get from the fender into the inside.

Your better off cutting the meters of extra wires off you dont need 10 feet of wire, its extra weight and extra clutter.
those fuse taps are dangerous and shouldn't be used.... theres a fog light fuse space under the hood fuse box actualy that you should use to make a dedicated fuse for the circuit....

I installed mine yesterday. I used a 5 amp fuse along with the 7.5. I just color matched it with fuse in video and it works
