Femke Bol Drops FASTEST 400 Meters Of All Time - NEW WORLD RECORD!
Crazy; that’s the best word to describe Femke Bol’s journey this season. Mind you, it’s not only the good kind of crazy. She shone and stumbled - literally - on the track; and yet, as the season comes to a close, she is recognized as one of the top-performing female athletes of the year.
In fact, Dutch athlete #FemkeBol was among the five finalists for Women’s World Athlete of the Year honors as was recently announced by World Athletics. How did this come about, you may ask?
Well, as I mentioned, Femke Bol has had quite a season. When Femke Bol started her 2023 by breaking a world indoor #trackandfield best, it was clear she was poised for a great year.

I have mentioned this is previous comments! Stop lunging for the finish line! Run as though the finish line is further down the track! So many records and such could be broken!

Shericka Jackson runs a 21! In the 200m
Yall don't know shiitznel about track. Just using your emotions and physical attraction to Bol thinking she is even in the same league as the aforementioned athletes. Shame on all of you
At 26 years old, so in her prime, Shauna Miller Uibo raced 50.21 indoor as her pb. That is almost a second slower than Femke Bol’s WR, or about eight meters on the finish line.
Yes, her outdoor pb is 48.36, very fast.
She proves the common track knowledge, that outdoors is at least a second faster than indoors, due to two more and sharper curves, that slow down because of the centripetal forces.
So Bol’s 49.24 should be valued as about 48.1 outdoors.
Nothing to shame about.
More context: Femke Bol took her WR from Jarmila Kratochvilova after 41 years. Jarmila still holds the world record on 800 meters outdoors and is still second on the all time 400m outdoor list with 47.99. Faster than Shauna. Nothing to be shamed about either, don’t you think?
And further more Shericka is a superbe short distance sprinter, but has not the slightest chance on 400 against Bol.
It seems you who have to learn something about track and field.
Sorry but you are squaking NONSENSE. Bol's 49.17 on the INDOOR 200 meter track (= harder to run) gets 1272 IAF points, exactly like SMU's 48.36, which also gets 1272 IAF points.
So the only one who doesn't know "shiitznel" about track seems to be you, lady.
