- One of the large religious groups in the Philippines is Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ). This video answers the question "What is Iglesia Ni Cristo?" and compares the beliefs of this nontrinitarian group with Evangelical Christianity.

....in sum, believing that Jesus is the son of God that came to die for us and pay the price for the sins of anyone that accepts it and repents and turns away from their sinful lifestyle will receive the Holy Spirit that will help the new life as Christian. Having the opportunity to be baptized (aspersion or submersion), share the gospel with others, or follow a list of "denominational doctrines", and be part of a physical church does not define anyone's salvation.
Paul said, to be careful about what you believe in, that can help or hurt your faith and relationship with God. The more you know the bible, the less gullible you will be, and the better you will understand the details of your journey with Christ.

Your Uncle is a good man who’s just trying to obey the commandments of God. I’m sure he prays to God for you and your family’s well being and know that he will never waver in his faith. He will try and try until his last breath for that is his mission, to bear fruits.

We dont consider Jesus Christ only just a mere man..this is a wrong concept for INC. Jesus is the Greatest messenger of God..He is the son of God...We worship Jesus not becoz he is God, but God commands all of us to worship Jesus and this is for the Glory of God the Father..

Why did Felix Manalo start his Church of Christ in November 1913?
It is true, he starts preaching on Santa Ana, Manila on that date. But the registration of it was July 27 1914. The papers they have was the Fifth year when he starts preaching and given on that day a recognition of leading that religion to others (I don't know where is the place sorry dude).

AWESOME video! You should also do two videos on the True Jesus Church and also the Christadelphians. After I got the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues in Parma OH Nov 1 1992, I kept trying to find an even purer form of Christianity that would retain the need for getting the Holy Ghost for salvation (and of course would be Arminian) while also denying not only the Trinity but the Modalistic Monarchianism of the UPC and other Oneness Apostolics and would believe in Adoptionist or Dynamic Monarchianism, and would abandon Sunday worship and pagan rites like Christmas and Easter. In December 1996 I found a True Jesus Church where they were worshipping on a Saturday, seemed to have their own way of speaking in tongues but at least in their literature were obvious pro-Pentecostal, and were against Christmas, Easter, and other pagan Christian fronts. They were mainly Chinese but also Korean, and I got re-baptised the next day in a "living body of water" (a river, lake, or ocean, a debate that went on almost 2000 years ago and apparently is still a serious concern for some). Like most Baptists and Pentecostals, they were not at all "top-down" but laity-oriented, a doctor was washing my feet, serious fasting, etc. As I tried to find a Pentecostal Dynamic Monarchian denomination, I failed to find a living one, but did discover that Edward Irving's Church in the early 1800s in Scotland was just that. He was as big a deal as Billy Graham in his day. However, in looking for Dynamic Monarchian denominations other than JWs I investigated the Iglesia ni Cristo for one of their Grand Evangelical Missions where they had awesome food after their sermon, and sure enough, as you say, they were VERY hung up on the name of the Church. I only learned just now from your video that they dictated voting to their members, which is the opposite of JWs who seem to prohibit it. Like the True Jesus Church, they both emphasize the biblical quote that "light would come from the East" (who knows, they may be right on their geographic interpretation on the Far East!). In Richmond VA I found an active Christadelphian chapter. VERY well-educated people and VERY good literature (e.g., for those who question evolution, they had quotes backing that up concerning Maclaurin as in Maclaurin series for calculus nerds where he'd proven how perfect that bees' hexagonal honeycombs that would defy random chance explanations), but like the other two Dynamic Monarchian groups they were very almost "cultish" in the sense that if you missed a meeting you were disfellowshipped, etc. Maybe when we have another Edward Irving come along, Jesus will return. I wonder why there's no intersection of Dynamic Monarchianism with Pentecostalism anymore, and I wonder why all the Dynamic Monarchian groups are so "top-down." In the weird "it's a small world" department, when I was browsing a Borders (this was a while back! late 1990s) or Barnes and Noble bookstore I saw a magazine on Rising Young Asian Entrepreneurs in Dallas at about the time the internet was becoming a bigger deal, and I happened to meet a young Filipino guy at the Grand Evangelical Mission who'd been featured in the magazine, and I told him I'd seen him in the magazine and asked him about why I wasn't seeing more religious use of the internet, and his mouth went wide open and he said "WOW!" so I guess everything happens for a reason.

I was a member of this church. It was a difficult decision but I'm glad I left, especially after reading the bible. I hope their members would read the bible, and they would start to find the gaps throughout the 25 doctrines. And yes, Jesus is proclaimed as God and described with God's attributes throughout the bible from Old Testaments up to New Testaments. That one crucial gap alone made me very glad I left. My heart goes out for their members blinded from the truth.
Contrary to what u said, Jesus was not proclaimed as God, but rather, proclaimed or ATTESTED as a man.

@@ven6372 If you read the whole bible, the Old Testament has portrayed that the coming Messiah would be God himself, and the New Testament has repeatedly proclaimed Jesus as fully Human and as fully God and has even attributed him with attributes, titles, honor/worship, and deeds that should only belong to God. Some of the verses that directly proclaimed Jesus as God are:
Isaiah:
1.) Isaiah 7:14 --> Matthew 1:23 (The son is called "GOD WITH US")
2.) Isaiah 9:6 (The son is called "Mighty GOD". "El Gibbor" in Hebrew, the same term used to describe God)
3.) Isaiah 44:6 --> Revelation 1:17-18, Revelation 22:12-16, and Revelation 2:8 (Jesus claimed a title that should only belong to GOD: The First and the Last. Btw this means that he is claiming to be Eternal, an attribute of God)
Apostle Paul:
4.) Colossians 2:9-10 (Jesus has all the fullness of Deity or GOD in Latin)
5.) Romans 9:5 (Apostle Paul directly said "Christ, who is GOD over all")
6.) Philippians 2:5-8 (Apostle Paul said Jesus was in the form or very nature GOD)
7.) Romans 8:9-10 (Apostle Paul interchangeably used Spirit of GOD with Spirit of Christ, as if they are the same)
8.) Philippians 2:10-11 → Isaiah 45:22-23 (In Isaiah, every knee shall bow and tongue shall confess to GOD, yet Paul applied this verse to Jesus)
9.) Romans 10:9-13 → Joel 2:32 (In Joel, everyone who calls on the name of YAHWEH (in the original writings of Hebrew) or GOD, will be saved and yet Paul once again applied this to Jesus)
10.) 1 Thessalonians 3:13 → Zechariah 14:5 (In case you don't know, all caps LORD in English translation is Yahweh in the original Hebrew writings of the bible, the name of God. Here in Zechariah, the Saints will come with GOD and yet once again Paul applied this to Jesus)
11.) 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 → Isaiah 66:15 (In Isaiah, YAHWEH will come with his chariots in fire, and yet Paul again applied this to Jesus)
Apostle John, and Jesus himself:
12.) John 1:18 (Jesus was called "The only GOD", “monogenēs theos” in the original Greek writings)
13.) John 20:24-29 (Apostle Thomas called Jesus as "my GOD", and Jesus did not deny it but rather accepted it, even calling people who believe as "blessed").
14.) John 5:18 (The Religious Jews called Jesus as "making himself equal with GOD". Jesus provided examples in the following verses on how He is indeed equal with God)
15.) John 10:30-33 ("I and the Father are One" said by Jesus, which was followed by the Jews saying that Jesus is making himself as GOD. The following verses Jesus once again reasoned with them that it is true)
16.) John 8:56-58 --> Exodus 3:14-15 (Jesus claimed to be the "I AM" or "YAHWEH" in Hebrew, the name of GOD)
17.) John 13:19 --> Isaiah 48:12-22, Isaiah 43:10-13, Isaiah 46:4, Isaiah 41:4 (Jesus claimed to be the "I AM He", the GOD who has spoken in the prophecies of Isaiah, based on some interpretations of Bible Scholars and Experts)
18.) John 10:14-17 --> Zechariah 9:16, Isaiah 40:10-11, Ezekiel 34:11-16 (Jesus claimed to be 'THE' and 'ONE' Shepherd, a title that should only belong to GOD based on the Old Testament)
19.) John 12:40-41 --> Isaiah 6 (Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus according to John, but in the referred chapter, Isaiah saw the "Lord of Hosts" or in other words, GOD)
20.) John 1:1-3 and John 1:14 (The Word was with God, and the Word was GOD. John even go as far as saying that everything was created through the Word. The Word is Jesus.)
Other testimonies (Apostle Paul, Apostle Mark, Prophet Jeremiah, Prophet Malachi, Luke, Prophet Zechariah, and the Father, God):
21.) Malachi 3:1 and Isaiah 40:3-5 --> Malachi 4:5, Matthew 11:13-14, Mark 1, John 1:29-34, Acts 19:1-7, Matthew 3:1-12
(Malachi 3:1 and Isaiah 40:3-5 said that there would be two people who is coming, the messenger and God ("before ME"). Malachi further clarified that this messenger would be Elijah, but in the New Testament, Jesus said that John the Baptist was the Elijah to come. John would prepare the way of God based on the old testament, however in the New testament, this was fulfilled but instead, John prepared the way of Jesus. Now either the bible is wrong or the prophecies has indeed been fulfilled that John prepared the way of God, which is Jesus based on the fulfillment in New Testament)
22.) 2 Peter 1:1 (Jesus is called the GOD and Saviour)
23.) Jeremiah 23:5-6 and Jeremiah 33:15-16 (The King coming from the Line of David (The Messiah/Jesus) has been directly called YAHWEH Tsidkenu, the name of God. I recommend checking the original writings of the bible in Hebrew)
24.) Zechariah 12:1 and Zechariah 12:10 (Yahweh/GOD was speaking in this chapter, and later, GOD said that he would be pierced "they will look at ME whom they pierced" and they will mourn as if mourning for an only son/child. This was fulfilled in the New Testament as Jesus was pierced by Nails and a Spear, and mourned by the people as the SON of GOD)
25.) Mark 2:5-7 (GOD is the only one who is allowed to forgive sins, yet Jesus did it. In the next verses, Jesus claimed to be the "SON OF MAN", a title of deity who will be worshiped based on the prophecy of Daniel 7:13-14. This is a very surprising verse from the Old Testament as the bible made it clear that we must only Worship God, and yet here a Human would be worshipped)
26.) Hebrews 1:2-3 (Jesus is the radiance and the EXACT imprint of GOD, and even goes as far as saying that it is through Jesus everything was created and uphold/sustained in the universe)
27.) Acts 20:28 (GOD purchased his Church through his Blood. The Father is a spirit with no Blood, but Jesus has as he is both fully Human and fully GOD)
28.) Luke 7:14-16 (The people called Jesus as "GOD has visited His people")
29.) Titus 2:13-14 (Jesus is called "Great GOD and Saviour)
30.) Hebrews 1:6-12 (The Heavenly Father directly called Jesus as GOD, yet the Father also called himself God (as stated "Therefore GOD, your GOD"). You will see this paradox everywhere in the bible, such as Isaiah 48:16 and Zechariah 2:10-11 where God said that he is sent by God, and John 1:1 God with God.. In case you don't know how to address this paradox where two person called themselves as God, John 10:30 is the truth that cannot be avoided).
And this is not even all of them, there are so much verses from both Old and New Testaments. These are just the verses that directly proclaimed or implied Jesus as God. There are a lot of verses as well which described Jesus with attributes that should only belong to God such as Creator, Judge, Eternal, Holy, Omniscient/Omnipresent, Worthy of Worship due only unto God, One with the Father, the Lord over the Law, and such. I recommend reading the whole bible, and it is especially useful learning Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek too as the case of Jesus' deity is even so much stronger in the original writings of the bible.
If you really want to know the truth, I recommend following the formula of Luke 11:9-10... Ask God for who He truly is and ask for his guidance in knowing the truth, Seek and read the bible, articles, books, or watch videos, and Knock to God and ask your questions everytime you seek. Trust me, you will experience something you've never experienced before.

I humbly ask please read all of the verses I gave, it is very clear on how Jesus is proclaimed as God, described like God, do things only God can do, and even fulfilled prophecies from the Old Testaments that should be about God. Even the Heavenly Father called Jesus as God, that's the greatest testimony we can ever ask.
I also want you to think of what the Apostles and Jesus himself has said in John 8:58, John 17:5, John 17:24, Revelation 22:12-16, Colossians 1:17, and John 1:15. There are a lot more of verses, but Jesus claimed that He is ALIVE and EXISTED even before he was borned as a Human. If you read the bible closely enough, you will even notice that Jesus appeared and spoke in the Old Testaments such as to Jeremiah, Samuel, Abraham, and others. A basic example is Isaiah 48:16.
The question that arises from this is: WHAT OR WHO IS JESUS BEFORE HE WAS BORNED AS A HUMAN?
I also recommend studying the history of Christianity. The early Christians and early church worshiped Jesus as God, such as in the writings of Ignatius of Antioch, Polycarp, and others, who btw were both close disciples of the Apostle John. My friend, the evidence is very clear to me:
1.) Personally as I encountered Christ in my life and how he manifest and reveal himself to me
2.) Biblical from Old to New testament. Again I am going to emphasize the WHOLE BIBLE, not just the New Testament
3.) Historical evidences of the Early Christians, Disciples, and Churches who worshiped Jesus as God, this is why they were persecuted by the Romans.
Btw it is interesting to me you reference the presence of God in the time of Moses. I recommend watching "Who is the Angel of the Lord" by the Bible Project, that you may understand that very presence of God in the story of Moses was a foreshadowing for the coming of Jesus as God become Human in the New Testament.

The denial of the Trinity and Manalo's claim to be prophet or Angel from the East should be automatic red flags. So many souls lost.

Because some are more educated in the gospel and share their knowledge. They may lead but they are not the end all to biblical knowledge.
I find it deeply unsettling that a church would demand all its members vote for the same candidate in every election. Even more so if the church didn't consistently vote for the same party every time. It makes the church's leader look like he wants politicians to actively grovel before him, so to speak.

I know you didn't ask me, but I think they are textbook Restorationist: "One True Church" that was just recently founded, meaning there were centuries or more of no True Church existing, and had to be Restored.

I am not sure how anyone can 100% be sure their theology is correct. I grew up between Baptist and Presbyterian churches, attended a 'People of Destiny International' church in my 20s (pretty Charismatic) and have read up on many denominations. I am 100% certain of one thing. No one denomination has all the details correct. For me, the trinity, salvation through Christ's shed blood and salvation by faith, not works are the only theological points that I am really cling to as being very probably collect. They are the things I choose to believe and cling to. For me they are bedrock. Honestly so many ernest believers dissagree on so many things. They all must hold true to what they believe. My kids were baptized in a Lutheran church as tiny tots, and later confirmed. I was baptized in a Baptist church at 13, but dedicated in a Presbyterian church as an infant. Every one of those churches was trying to do what the Bible says. I am getting old. I still see so many dogmatic about each and every detail, and fighting for them. I would rather throw myself on God's mercy, knowing that only he has the whole picture.

I may not be a spiritual schooler, or have a deep well of faith, but I know who I believe in, and I know to not be ashamed of him, and I my sins are covered by his blood and not bybmy works or my theology. At 54, I may still be a spiritual infant to some, and maybe I am in reality, but I know who holds my past, my present, and my future. The other things, such as the nature of the Lord's Supper, of baptism, of Mary's death or assumption, and many other major theological points have been in contention for millennium. Even amongst the oldest still existing churches, east and west, there isn't complete agreement. As a believer, I cling to the truths I am sure of, for my salvation, and Jesus's command to love God and others as myself. The other things are still important, but life is short, and I need to do my best to try to be like Christ and not to fix theological points that haven't been 100% agreed on ever.

In Hebrews 1 verses 3 to 13, the Almighty God proclaims the son to the angels the Son is the radiance of God's glory and is the EXACT REPRESENTATION of his being. What is God's being?? At Hebrews 1:6, the Almighty God commands all his angels to worship his firstborn son. Only a God is worthy of worship thus the Almighty is proclaiming his son as God.

I made a comment to my dad how the only religion with guns are the muslims. and he told me how that wasnt the case. he went round about with it, but since I didnt believe him, he shared his, as well as the people he knew, experiences. its weird to me how he was slightly double guessing whether to tell me or not. another story he shared was where one of the consuls in our place had a dispute with the inc, they threatened him, and consul accepted their threat, that if he dies atleast they'll know who did it. A catechism in the general sense is a teaching tool that is usually in a Q&A format. Moreover, not only Catholics and Orthodox use catechisms but so do confessional Protestants such as Reformed, Presbyterians, Baptists, Lutherans, and Anglicans. The INC "Bible Study" manual is in a catechetical format. You may not refer to your indoctrinees as "catechumens" or students but that is what they are. Besides, I have heard INC ministers refer to them as "Bible students" in the INC channel programs.
As to whether or not the pdf I have is authentic, I assure you it is. I have undergone the INC indoctrination myself but only for academic purposes and not for conversion. If you don't want to believe me, that's your problem. I have been studying INC doctrines for more than a decade. I have copies of the Pasugo, watched GEM and the INC RUclips channel, discussed with ministers and workers, read books, etc. Hence, I know what I am talking about.

The INC tried to do "Block Voting" in the UNITED STATES back in the early 1980's and found themselves almost losing their tax status of 401c because of it. They do not promote this type of voting for if they are caught again, ALL their offerings will be taxed, like a business and hence lose this ability to have this 401c status. In your 1989 edition of your Pasugo, it said he was conducting worship services and already called it the Iglesia Ni Cristo back then! Because he was having services, why did he wait until July 1914 to register his church? You have two conflicting stories my friend!
