I like that. But I also like Singlecut. Maybe also Neckthru. I can imagine that it's more difficult to make the pocket fit than to glue on two bodypieces.(?)🙃
Neck thru is easy enough. This has to be bolt on or set neck though. I haven’t made neck thru for years but I’ll have to make one for the channel sometime.
I'm considering building a bass for the fun of it and the lack of funds to buy one. I had to sell mine because I needed money. It was a Marleaux MBass 5 and I loved it very much. I did some research and realised that the hardware can also be very expensive. I'm thinking about it...
@@vogner2483 you don’t have to spend a fortune on hardware these days. All the major companies license their designs. And there are a lot of unbranded parts that do the job pretty well.
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of trying something new and I've always wanted to try a headless 6 string. That's where it starts to get complicated. I haven't found any hardware that is "cheap". Especially the bridge. and Pickups. But it could also be that my expectations are far too high or unreasonable. Let's see. @@JonLettsGuitars
It's beautiful by itself, I'm happy with your design. ❤
That’s a very kind comment. Thanks 🙏 ❤️
Looks sick, how long have you been doing this?
Thanks wyrmster (one of my models is called WyRm). Getting on for 15 years. 🙏 🐉
@@JonLettsGuitars damn nice (also no way they turned me into a guitar)
@@wyrmster4886 they sure did! 😝
good idea to leave extension of fingerboard. what about wiring pickup direct to output if uvwill use one pickup.
I just find volume pretty useful.

@@vogner2483 headless is expensive yes. The submarine type are never that great. Abm are fantastic and the easiest to fit.
Nice to see how you approach such things 👍🏻
Cool. 🙏
