Phil, I'm having trouble with the link. Its pulling up all the art on the site, not just yours. You could submit some work to Wallies (sp used to be Wallys) they make giant wall covers that can be taken back off and rolled up- people cover their entire walls.
So Phil, it looks like you are really liking that little 6700, it is convenient as far as size.. Do hope you are feeling better. Take care Phil.

The landscape video wasn't over sold! You got some really great shots. The building at the rest stop was really cool. I'm glad you walked down to get the last shot it turned out great.

Had to chuckle a little. Living out here in the desert Southwest, power poles and power lines drive me crazy. I'll see a great shot, stop and upon closer look see the power lines and poles in my proposed shot. While I can edit them out, I'm not a fan of the extra work. I love the wide open views out here in the desert. Thanks for posting the video. :)
I think they added to the first Saddleback mtn shot for sure, maybe not as much the second one. But, I can understand that not everyone will feel the same way about them.
Hello from Toronto Phil hope you’re keeping well. July 22 2025 is my retirement day and that Mazda is the one I’m getting in a months time. My sister has had that car and loved it, in fact, she’s had three Mazdas so far. I also got back into photography after having to leave it behind about 45 years ago. I just got the Canon R6 mark 2, a 100 to 500 L lens and a 24 to 105 Lens also a retirement gift lol 😂 I,m enjoying the hobby again. Love the channel you have great content.

I am going to be honest, I thought of Nick the moment you showed that first 3:1 photo. But I REALLY liked that building photo!!! Nice photos and I still think you should print that one😬🤷🏻♂️

That Sigma lens sure looks interesting. I had the equivalent APS-C lens for a Nikon D7200 for a couple of years and liked the setup but compared to this mirrorless version it was just huge, weighty and bulky. Amazing what a decade of tech development can do! 😊

Next time in Vegas. The Valley of Fire and Red Rocks Canyon just outside of Vegas are just stunning places to shoot. Hope your recovery is going well!

Maybe this is what I was seeing from Vegas. We went with 20 or so people, a few years ago to Vegas for a friend’s wedding. Every time we were traveling in that darn party bus, I’d see those mountains and think I’d rather be there than in a casino! It was a wonderful time to celebrate with friends, but I would never go back for the casinos. Just not my thing! Now, the mountains…..that would be nice!
Great shots Phil ,I am sure you were not looking for Rattle snakes ! I like Nick Carver ,he is quite a character ! He does incredible stuff with film !

beautiful shots! I have driven that route back and forth on I-15 half dozen times over the last couple years. There are some beautiful desert compositions along the way. Sadly, I’ve not stopped to capture them.
@@davidligon6088 thank you! We did not stop any on the way back. We had a deadline and we only beat it by about 15 minutes.
@@PhilThach That is cutting it close! That stretch of road between L.A. and Vegas can be rather unpredictable for traffic.
Phil when you were taking those scenic photos you were taking photos of the Yucca trees and that's part of the California desert .
And those same trees during the winter we have Scott's Orioles that like to hang out in those trees .

@@enesosmanbasic7364 thank you! They were taken directly from the camera, just single shots cropped to a panorama type aspect ratio.
Phil, disappointed we did not get to shoot together - next time. Beautiful shots. As my wife says, you seem to find something interesting everywhere. If you two have never been to Joshua tree, it my be someplace to consider sometime. It is BEAUTIFUL there.❤❤

2 days back you released a video of you being in the hospital for heart issues, and this video you are travelling. Hope you are doing good.
This video was made before my heart attack. I made that R5 Mark II video and immediately released it because it was timely. In fact, I left a hole in my release schedule so I could put that video there. But, this video and the next 5 videos were made before my heart attack.

Hello, have you tried the sigma 18-50 2.8 for the Canon R7? I currently use the Canon 17-55 2.8 with an adapter for the R7 and I don't know if the change is worth it, the weight is less but in terms of quality and performance? good video!
I haven't but I can't imagine it being bad. The Sony version is outstanding.
What camera do you enjoy using the most? Sony 6700 or canon r6 ii
@@MODESTYXO205 I enjoy both of those cameras, but I specifically used the little Sony because of its size and weight. It was easier to fit into my carry-on for the airplane. It’s an excellent travel camera, which can produce great results.
