Probably the best romantic comedy of all time, people talk about the chemistry that Meg Ryan had with Tom Hanks in their 3 movies which were are very good but I think Meg has even more with Billy.

I've loved this movie for years - must have watched it a hundred times. As I watch different reactions by couples on their youtube channels, I notice how they laugh and gaze over at each other and touch each other's arms or lay their head on their partner's chest - a movie that shows real emotions does affect our relationships and it's just cool to see it in real time.
This is the greatest Rom-Com.

What makes this the best Rom-Com of all time is it is the 50/50 view from a Man & a Women. Written by 2 men and 2 women. Nora Ephron & Rob Reiner wrote the script, but on set Billy & Meg had complete input into changing things. Billy is a master of improve. He wrote the best line in the movie "I'll have what She"s having". If you 2 are watching Rom-Coms you have to watch "The Good-Bye Girl"(1977). The first Rom-Com to make $100 Million. Richard Dreyfuss won the Best-Actor Oscar for the lead in a Rom-Com. Not to many Actors win for a Rom-Com. The song for from the movie "The Goodbye Girl" was a huge hit as well. Not considered a Classic Song.
In case no one has mentioned this, Nora Ephron, the producer, has this quirk of ordering everything on the side. That is why Sally's character was given that same quirk. This is one of the more brilliant romcoms I've ever seen. I've now seen it in reaction on several channels and was looking forward to seeing it on yours. You are such a cute couple.
I actually saw this move for the first time a few months ago. It instantly became one of my favs. It's really good and funny.
Hellen...was big in the 80s and early 90s. Great in Necesaary Roughness! And the coolest name in Hollywood ever. Harley Jane Kozach! Im not a huge romcom fan, and most have completely unbelievable situations or setups. That being said, this could very well be the best romcom ever. U would proly have to go back to a cary grant movie, to get better. Pro tip, the 2 guys were also in city slickers with a teen Jake gyllinhaal! The answer is no. If a man finds a woman attractive. And the best written script by a female ever, for a male dominated cast...Slapshot!!😅. Pro tips. The , ill have what shes having lady...the directors ma! The 4 way phone call scene, was shot in 3 different rooms, split screen added, simultaneously with no edits, because perfect timing was needed, it took 61 takes!😮😮. And yes hes the voice of mike in, Monsters Inc!😮😮😮also the friend is young Clemenza in godfather 2 and in Robin Williams Good morning Vietnam! And he did a comedy about young Clemenza and Vito Corleone from Godfather, and Ferris Bueller, in a great comedy called, The Freshman!
Sally's unique way ordering is exactly how writer Nora Ephron orders. She and director Rob Reiner were out eating and when she ordered like that, Rob said that needs to go in the movie.

City Slickers is my favorite
Best romantic comedy I think ever. Also yeah depending on kids, business calls, someone always on their phone two landlines wasn't insane. Hell having a spare just for online was common.
In the classic deli scene, it was actually Meg Ryan's idea to fake the O. Billy Crystal wrote the classic line "I'll have what she's having," which was spoken by director Reiner's mother Estelle.

Just a note that the background music was too loud and made it difficult to hear your final comments. Your dialog was hard to hear during the movie as well.

Yes, men and women can be friends. But friendship is also a good basis for a romance sometimes too.
This is one of the few films that you can still watch in 40 years, even though it is already 35 years old. If you're feeling down, call your best friend/boyfriend, buy a big pack of Häagen Dazs Cookies and Cream and just have fun with this great movie.

A crazy romance/action movie is DRAGONSLAYER. It was a Disney/Paramount Pictures collab back in 1981. You should do a date night reaction to that great movie. It also has the Emperor from Star Wars in it. See if you can pick him out of the lineup of actors in the movie. Fun, Fun, Fun.
