No bcoz we remove the soft water earlier so when we see hard water is not effectively being converted into soft water. Hence we perform regeneration. Now soft water is removed so no water in the tank so we add dil. Hcl and dil. Naoh respectively to regenerate the resins and the waste cacl2 and mgcl2 are removed thru that waste ka pipe
