I am a truck driver and have been hunting for the perfect small headset for years. I have tried all types. How would you rate this headset's noise canceling versus something like the Poly Voyager 5200 or a dedicated trucker-style headset, Blue Parrot 550-XT? Your videos are awesome and straight to the point, and on top of that, you respond to people's questions. That is so awesome!
What's up, JBMN! Thank you so much for watching and supporting our channel! And Yes, I do my best to respond to every comment that needs one. The original Poly Voyager 5200 and dedicated trucker-style headsets like the BlueParrott B550-XT are great options. Based on my tests, I don't believe the Jabra Talk 45 is a good option. The Talk 45 mic may perform "ok"; however, in noisier environments, it's best to have larger, louder speakers so you can hear. The BlueParrott line of Trucking Headsets is the best option for your use case. Newer models include Active Noise Canceling (ANC) speakers to help suppress the background noise around you. www.blueparrott.com/on-the-road-headsets Thanks again for supporting our channel!

Hi boe, the ear hook is optional. I used the Jabra Talk 45 with and without the ear hook. The Poly Voyager 3200 was my wife's favorite. Hi Neutral User, the ability to switch between mobile and softphone calls is a primary feature of business or enterprise grade headsets from Jabra and other leading brands. The Jabra Talk 45 is a consumer Bluetooth headset designed to work with mobile phones only. The Jabra Stealth UC (available here: www.calloneonline.com/JABRA-STEALTH-UC) includes a USB Bluetooth dongle and is designed for multipoint connectivity and the ability to switch between computer and mobile calls. There are several other headsets that offer this functionality. Take a look at these: www.calloneinc.com/wireless-headsets/#ms Contact us directly if you have more questions! M-F, 8am-5pm ET. I use a Jabra Evolve 40 Wired over the head headset w/microsoft teams capability. Will the Talk 45 be able to work the same just as a wireless? I work from home and The Evolve is what we were given to use. I have a ThinkPad and we use softphone.
Hi Rhonda! The Talk 45 is part of Jabra’s consumer line. They make a Jabra Stealth UC that is almost identical except for it includes a USB dongle for use with computers. www.jabra.com/bluetooth-headsets/jabra-stealth#%235578-230-109 You may be asking, why do I need a dongle? Hi Michael! No, the Jabra Talk 45 can be worn in-ear without the ear loop. Thank you for watching and your question!

How well does it mask wind though? I often do walk and talk meetings outside.
