Yes, but I like Mezco's body proportions more for Henry Cavill. For KC Supes they're perfect, but Cavill has the soulders/pecs more highlighted and the ab is slimmer than the vtoys body in my opinion.
I've had this since it first came out and it remains my overall favorite Superman figure despite the lack of accessories. Hopefully BMS releases an accessory pack for this guy one day.
Yep, just like I said, the lack of accessories is compensated by how great it looks, the great articulation that leaves room for posing and the room they left for upgrades (like cape, head sculpt etc.).
Mezco is just as horrible for scaling as McFarlane & Medicam (Dr.Fate taller than Diana & "The Captain").... I knew greedy Mafex couldn't take 5 minutes out to read A DC _Secret Files_ portfolio or size chart (before scultping). But I always figured Mezco did.. > Anyways, Cool figure! It really works. Preordered it in a second after I've read that they're using vtoys bodies. But yeah, it fits well with MAFEX, Mezco (even though their scale is off 😂😂). When I look at my shelf it feels like the childhood imagination is brought to life 😁. I've just bought a MAFEX Robocop and I still don't understand why it took me that long.
I needed Kingdom Come Superman for my Earth 2. I use a different Superman for my Earth 6; Kingdom Come style Earth. I had some other Kingdom Come Figures and I also used other alternate and Futuristic looking Figures for my Kingdom Come style Earth, even though it's not accurate. For example, I have Dick Greyson Batman working with Terry McInnis Batman Beyond and Kingdom Come Red Robin Tim Drake. I also have Starfire and Nightstar on this Earth. I'm still a bit short on Villains, but almost all my DC Earth's the Heroes have a numbers advantage. DC has always been terrible about giving us enough Villains!
Well, I'm a 30 Year Collector, I have built 10 different Earth's, 6 of them are DC Earth's, and only on my my Earth 3; Crime Syndicate, do my Villains have a slight numbers advantage. There were only 7 released Figures, but I expanded my Crime Syndicate to 13 members using Alternate Figures. Alien looking Martian Manhunter as Martian Marauder, Momoa Aquaman as Aqua Lord, etc.
The shorts look is classic, best look for Superman since 1938, right? 😮 Accepted the Henry Cavill look for the movies, though don,t want it for the comics aesthetic, hate the New '52 look ,would you want to have Captain Marvel,Shazam with trunks? No,right?!😮😅. Lol.
I guess not, but still I loved Cavill's suit and the idea that he found it in the Kryptonian ship and the S was a symbol on Krypton, not short for Superman.
This version of Superman reminds me of George Reeves Superman.

Your best bet is ebay. If not, try Facebook mezco/mafex groups. I think I saw a few on sale there.

It needs a custom wired cape to make him look better!🤔
It would definitely be an improvement for posing. But I also like how this Cape drapes.
